Hey I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me get the name of a painting in the Louvre.

I saw it last year when I went to Paris with my school and I loved the painting but due to my habits and my shot memory I have seemed have forgotten the name of it.

To my memory it was a big painting by the Mona Lisa room. What I remember there was like a bunch of people on the bottom part and at the top there was clouds and angels and there was like a giant golden sphere globe thing.

Any help would be appreciated if you can direct me to a website showing all of the paintings or if you know the name.

Much Love

The one i think you most describes is Triumph Of the Virtues, but the full list in paintings in alphabetical order is here.

I love art history.

Found a lot of paintings that somewhat resembled the description, but not a lot of them have any golden globes or sphere like shapes. Try these:

I do think that it may be this one though.

I've found the painting, but still haven't found out the name.

Here is a shitty camera picture of it which does not do the painting any justice once you've seen it in person.

Spoiler:

I didn't see that when I looked through the 201 paintings on the website XD

I've looked through all my Art History books and I can't find a picture of the crucifixion of Christ in the Louvre that looks like that.

it may have been in the gallery on exhibition :o idk

Maybe I'm secretly French.

Oh oh, give us another one to find~!

Edit: I think I'll do my plan and see what the response is XD.
