lol.. hexx, first lets assume that I'm older than you (because I prolly am) and therefore the term "kiddo" is either a desperate attempt by you to discredit me as a young foolish child, or that your totally pissed, either way... it didn't belong in any reality grounded post - choose your words more carefully, especially after attacking me for incomprehensible text.

As far as the idea that there are many more people to do KSNM with even tho i refuse to be a party to Art of War's questionable behavior. Well, I believe you have missed the point of a flameboard altogether. Its obvious you could care less about whats right or wrong here, all you care about is your continued success, out of curiousity, are u in Art of War by any chance?

As far as the flame in general and why I did it. Its simple really, I personally think the flameboard exists to warn players about other potential problems they may have with people in game. That is the reason why it was not only fair, but almost neccesary to put the ls name along with Palidades in this flame. And every time I get some ridiculous response like the one you just tried, I will prolong the thread. The reason is simple, every time I respond, it bumps the thread back to the top, and potentially alerts more people to those who may try to take advantage of them, like Palidades.

And last but not least, I don't expect free help on KSNM's, what I expected was for the participants to actually stick around and finish, when it was obvious that this wasn't what I was seeing from AoW, I left, I hope the drg did get to pop his orb, but do you suppose that its unfair to bring in one person to pop an orb without participating in the entire run, after all, isn't that free help too? Think about it, I left the run for a reason.

P.S. I seriously hope yall continue to respond, anyone with any sense at all can see that a person fake dc'in after they get drops is unnacceptable, and the more responses I get, the more people will see Palidades name attached to that, and that part isn't questionable, you said yourself Hexx that I would've been right to flame him for it^^
 
I think bolting before he did his own run was kind of stupid. Since we're talking about wasting time, he just wasted 4-5 runs and got nothing in return except a bigger Blist.

I understand how your time was wasted, marxx. It sucks. It really does. However, you could have had a silver lining in that you could have done your run, but you decided to be a bitch and bail.

There isn't much more annoying to me than lining up a run or a party only to have to continually replace members.

Im implying he couldve done his run and then left.. His options were to either waste the 3 hours he had been doing the BC, Use his orb then leave (Waste no time), or waste 30 mins. He chose the first one, which i think makes no sense to me.

trist, if marxx had done that, he would be no better than paldides, correct?
 
Actually, had he done his orb he could have left without helping the other person at all. He agree'd to help his own parry of 6. Nothing extra. Palides or w/e bolted(or not, don't care) without completing the rest, thus making him appear like a dick.

When you sign up for anything, it's like a rule of thumb that you stay till everyone who started got theirs done.

Him leaving before he did his run only fucked over himself and makes his wasting 30 more mins completely moot. He just wasted 3 hours without any gain. I will agree that the OP owed nothing to the new person. It's just stupid to leave before your orb. You could have done this a smart way, made some gil, and made Pali look like a douche. Instead he made Pali look like a douche and himself look like a retard.

Maybe your right, but I don't think so. I left when I believed the situation was unnacceptable. If I had stayed, it wouldve been for one reason and one reason only... And its something that nobody has mentioned yet. I feel like I should have maybe stayed because Experiment hadn't done his orb yet, and he deserved to after being there for all the runs from the start.

As far as monetary reasons, or the idea that gil and objectives are worth more than pride and principle, well, you call it smart if you want, I call it swallowing my pride, something that I don't do very easy after this many years playing. Soooo... maybe I did waste my own time when i left, but it was my time to waste, not Palidades or Art of War's. And with the jobs I have, I'm not terribly worried about getting another party for it.
 
It's funny as shits when people are flaming Marxx for simple being upset and leaving. Like another had said, leaving after getting his orb over with would make him just like Palides. Rule of thumb my nuts!!! That's more jerkish than anything if you were to wait for the rep, get your shit done, and then leave.

if you ask me, Marxx's decision was the right one. Leave while you can and let them rep at the same time if they wish. Better than having to wait for the first rep and then finding another for Marxx after he has left.

There's no fucking himself over. Marxx wasted enough of his time. If I was in his shoes i'd have done the same. Left when at the best opportunity to avoid drama.

of course; but only if he had left after doing his. if he'd stayed on, done everyone's run, etc. etc., all he'd be out is 30 minutes of his time, and that would certainly be frustrating enough and i'd understand completely where he's coming from.

but to bitch about 30 minutes lost, without actually going ahead and seeing the whole thing through? that kinda sounds like he wasted his own time.

Yea, I moved to a new place, and Time Warner sucks my nuts. I've dc'd right as I've entered Nyzul. I've dc'd fighting the Nyzul Boss. I've DC'd fighting gods in sky. I've dc'd in merit parties. It's pretty shitty, but there is no other ISP provider in my area other than satellite, and it is more expensive. Fucking sucks to play an online game and DC, but I can't do anything about it until I move to a new place in a year or so.

Sorry you thought I was douche for DCing. Add me to your blist or whatever, we usually do all LS everything, I only shout if we can't find a 6th. For the record you did a great job in the KSNM too. TAoW ftw.
 
The Op's point is that he believes this happened:

The ls decided to do a ks run, but didnt have enough, and made a shout.

The Op answered, and they went off.

Somewhere along the run, another ls member said they wanted to do the run also.

The ls leader decides to take care of him, and get him in on it.

The ls leader gets his run done and "DCs", thus opening a spot.

The extra ls member "happened" to be both available, and had an orb.

The Op recognised this as a trick, and decided he/she didn't feel like being exploited into doing an extra run for this apparetly douchebag ls.

Pride in hand, the op left, deciding his/her drops werent worth doing this ls' extra person's run.


None of this sounds very unlikely.. If the LS really just felt bad and wanted to fix things, they wouldnt have asked the op to do another run, but just get a rep for their leader and leave it at that. And you know if the op did their run and left, theyd have been the one in the wrong in this situation.

One thing you should know about this game, people d/c at the worst possible times ever. Palides was recently about to be a tank for a party, then d/ced, to never return until the next day, whether it be a power outage or his connection crapped on him, these things happen.
 
I've been playing a long time, I understand dc's. If he had dc'd after the first orb, great. If he had dc'd during my orb and we lost, still no problem. But like I said in my original post, If he actually dc'd immidiatly after his drops fell, after three hours of solid connection, then it stands as probably the most amazing coincidence I've seen in this game, ever, and I've been playing for quite ahwile. -- Its BS, and thas why I'm telling people what happened.
