Palides and Art of War

Seems like the thread was over when palides responded... but I will have to agree Time Warner sucks some major crap infested kangaroo donkeys.

I'm so happy I'm not on TW's network. Used to DC all the time.

I hope you can get beyond this marxx, you'll enjoy the game more when you can look past people's tiny faults.

You obviously don't know TAoW then, from my experiences it's one of the bigger social linkshells and almost every member has a dd job leveled and we usually save our seals to do bc/ksnm's with other linkshell members.

I stand firm on the fact that I believe any person who's posted on here would be very upset if if someone dc'd a minute after getting their drops, especially after having a perfect connection all day. Honestly, if I would have seen Palidades go red dot, even w/o a full dc one time that day, this flame wouldn't be here. But his connection was in fact good all day, and he never mentioned lag or potential dc problems, so... like I said earlier, if you trust Palidades and his connection, go for it, outside of feeling completely used, they were awesome to run with. But frankly, even though they were good, I wouldn't do it again, either his connection is soo bad that he can't be relied on, or he can't be trusted, either way, it poses a problem.

So. Why doesn't Marxx blacklist the entire roster of TAoW, and TAoW (or anyone in it who feels so inclined) black list Marxx, then move on in your gaming lives? Is it really worth arguing over something that you'll never know whether or not you're right about. Palides may have force DC'd; if he did, who gives a fuck, 99% of people have done it. If he didn't, you've flamed him and his linkshell for no reason.

If you're going to call each other idiots and argue back and forward, you could do it over something worthwhile...I liked the friend-defense call-out though, nice spot.

I have time warner, and I went afk five days ago. I'm still logged in.
Just saying that not everyone is affected by a bad company, so falling back on said excuse doesn't always fly right with me. There'll always be someone saying "Fuck TW", "Fuck Comcast", "Fuck ATT", etc. etc.

So to those who keep thinking it is (No names), we'd appreciate it if you stopped bothering our members. It's someone using the name marxx on QCDN, not our member. He's too cool and understanding of a guy to let something like a DC bother him.
 
Well if that is the case, isn't that against the "rules"? There is no mention of an ingame name for this OP is there?

So...who is it then? Obviously we don't know yet, but when I read your post, what popped into my head was "man, the OP's flame pretty much backfired on him, and this looks like some pretty major "it's a different dude, not the real marxx" defense."

Of course, all this could easily be sorted if just 1 person who was at the BCNM would tell us who it was who left, or if the person using the name Marxx on qcdn were to abide by the rules and actually show their character name.
 
I don't know, but our Marxx doesn't even have an account here yet. He just registered one in order to post that it's not him, but I've heard of a few members from tAoW harassing a few Leonine members.

If you know our Marxx, you'd know this is not something that would send him to a flameboard. There are very few things that he can't take in stride.

For the record - The person who the bc left was my alt Whencher. I'm Minimarx, and my original char that I deleted was Marx. -- And for the record, I'd bet heavy that the acct here is older than the Marxx character in Leonine or w/e shell it was. -- I've had this acct since 2005 when I lost password on Marx and just made a new and similair acct name. Suggesting that I'm using an illegitimate name for my QCDN acct is quite a stretch, especially when you look at the date it was opened. -- If there are any more questions, feel free to ask em, I certainly ain't scared to answer. And some of the oldest NA players on the server can validate it all.
 
Well no one's saying you haven't been playing, just... put your character name in your signature or something.

Per the "rules" you need to have your name in your sig or you can place it in the User CP interface where it says "character". Just an FYI.

Only ones with beef against Leonine (and thats considering that you guys had a bunch of our people in your LS) are the ones that left after some bull crap that (according to them and OTHER members that have left Leonine) was said by Jeiger about him wanting them to have ONE LS only. As far as I know, nobody else really has beef with y'all. If Marxx (from Leo) was harassed might have been confusion pure and simple with THIS marxx.
 
Hey he d/c'd once or twice during me and Hexx's run, I didn't go running to the FB.

People d/c all the time. Shit happens. We couldn't find a rep, we called it.

Made plans to get back together whenever we all had enough seals. :p Simple enough as that.

Btw, Hexx, I still haven't had time to farm seals. Sky/Dyna/Einherjar/Nyzul/COP Can't find the time. :/
