Does anyone have a link to where Sundi says it takes 18 hours for an AV fight? Never read that before, but then again, I skimmed a lot of the interviews and could have easily missed it.

I'm sorry but if this is really how you are supposed to fight it, that one single word sums it up.

I personally can't believe it. There has got to be some stupid trick we are missing. I don't think SE would make a mob that takes 18 ours to kill, much less expect players to work together, especially with all the dramatic stuff that circulates servers these days regarding server transfers.

I don't think SE is -that dumb- or -that desperate- to keep customers by making a mob that takes so long to kill much less expect a bunch of HNMls to gather together and team up to kill a mob.

Come on guys. Its the LOL. I know the AV thing still hasn't been solved but AV is completely different. PW key is very hard to get and takes time, why would they expect us to fight for 18hours, much less team up with multiple LS? Thats absurd.

Give it some more time. We will figure this out just like Kirin.

How many times do I have to say it, Sage Sundi has already stated that AV takes about 18 hours so why won't we believe another mob can take 18 hours?
 
I was under the impression He/she was just kidding.

You know more about the article than me Auron, so if you say they said it, I can take your word for it.

It seems if at any point you CFH on Pandemonium, even if you get claim back, the next form won't appear. In essence, you lose.
 
Could always be worse you could get ATNM TESTed!
Also, Amerie getting PW pops is about the same to getting JoL pops before patching
 
Maybe its glitched or something.

I remember when Khimaira first came out, he didn't use tp moves. They fixed it in a next update or something. I'm not really sure if it was a single server problem or if it was a "problem" on all the servers.

Auron, the article you refer to was written just this week. The reason he included it in that article is because one person on BG mentioned it when the author asked for information about AV. That person, too, was asked to provide a direct quote from where Sage Sundi said that, but he was unable to support his claim.

So please Auron, stop mentioning it until you can actually find the interview where Sage Sundi stated AV would take 18 hours to kill.

Sundi also mentioned that AV is about an 18 hour battle - not including the time it takes to kill Jailer of Love. He said if you get really lucky with the order in which AV uses it's abilities you may get it down to a 9 or 10 hour battle. This explains why so many people can use their 2 hour multiple times in the course of the battle as shown in the video they created. Knowing the estimated length of a complete AV battle, it may be worth going back and re-analyzing the video for clues.

Uh last time I talked to him they were waiting on a SGM to get back to them to possibly recover pop set at least

Khimaira wasn't server based it was just random glitched spawns.

I'm going to go with the school of thought that they might tone him down after this next update not wanting the player base to beat their new boss so easily in the beginning but that's just my opinion
