I feel pretty bad for all you guys who've had bad drop rates with this thing. I read this post a few days ago and thought, "hey, that'd be a pretty cool item to have for pld!" So I break my 1.5 month break and log on. I find Naokochan (old friend, much <3 ) online, and ask if she'd help me out (cause TH2 makes things much better), but she's helping Daremo (really cool 75 rdm) get a Garlaige Citadel coffer key. So I tag along, cause, well, I like helping out when I can. The key drops quite quickly, after about 10 mobs.
And both of them nicely offer to help me get a parade gorget. So spin about 20 mins later, I've brought 6 goblin drinks (two each, for each "scrawled writing" points). First spawn point we check, there it is, sitting there. So I drop a goblin drink on it, and a few moments later, nm's dead and there is a parade gorget sitting in the treasure pool. 1/1 ^_^ Then Daremo's asks what that is, and goes ooh, I'd like one of those for my drk (well, something like that). So we wait 15 min, the writing pops back in the same place, same song and dance, and there is *another* parade gorget sitting in the pool. 2/2 <^__^> Made a wonderful return to ffxi imo. Props to Naokochan and Daremo for letting me stab things.
