Never even heard of this movie till i saw it on the torrent line today.
I tried to find info on it, but there was none really except that it was a mockumentary.

So i figured that meant it was a spoof or something, figured it would be good for a laugh.

Man, was i wrong.

Its like Paranormal Activity 2 or something, now with BOOBIES!!!

I will say...i watched this alone and im not going to sleep. I normally dont get scared or freaked by this stuff, but there were like 4 parts that made me jump and sit up on my couch clutching my snuggie.

It wasnt all that scary tho since i already seen paranormal activity and this movie kinda follows the exact same formula.
Just this time its not a girlfriend and boyfriend, its a family.

A mother, A sister and a brother living in a house that screams "we got money!!!".
Their father died a year earlier in a car wreck and the mother is told by a psychic that writing to a dead loved one can help and they may write back, so she begins to think her husband is writing back when all of the sudden things start happening that let her know its not her husband, and all the attacks are focused on her daughter.

The brother, takes a psychiatrists advice about recording the events, and sets up cameras in the living room, mothers room, sisters room and carries one with him.

Quickly the cameras start capturing things.

Filmed in the exact same way as paranormal activity, and some scenes may even look EXACTLY like that movie, i mean the sister looks almost identical to the girl in PA.
This movie doesnt copy how the entity acts tho, it does some different crap, like mimicking the people living there.

Probly the part that kept making me think "fuck dont do that!" is when the son decides to stay home alone while his mom and sis stay at a hotel. I couldnt help but feel like he was in danger and that i would never do something like that when things of that nature are happening. So yeah, the movie draws you in a little bit just like PA.

The entity pretty much F's with them the whole movie, and gets increasingly more noticeable and violent up until the violent ending that just seems way to abrupt and unexplained.
There are too many parts in this movie that make me think "if this were real, as they try to make it seem, why would he be filming this interview with his family unless he planned on making something out of the footage?"

Its not any better than paranormal activity, and its not any worse, but a +1 for boobies!
download it n check it out!

Just finished d/ling this, excited to watch it i was a big fan of PA

Funny you should mention this because I watched it last night by myself.

It did still spook me too even being a spoof.

I watched this before I watched Paranormal Activity which I watched afterwards... well now, I don't usually buy into ALL the paranormal schtuff. Bits n pieces sure. I can believe in unseen forces but to what degree is what differs for me.

Anyway, Paranormal Activity scared the shit right out of me. I grew up watching Horrors so I really didn't think I would get that freaked out but, I went from laying down watching it with no lights but the Christmas Tree to sitting up with my hall light on, bathroom light on with the shower curtains open. All the way to every damn light in my apartment on with every door wide open so I could see clearly....

I have to admit both Activity and Entity were done well.

You had me at boobs.

See, I'd be interested in this but after so many people here said they were scared by PA and how good it was it has me questioning your taste in movies. I don't think I will watch this.

PA wasnt at all scary, but it was good because it was an original take on film. Most people can settle with the same old thing rehashed time and time again, and thats fine, but other people want something new, Movies like PA and INK are those types of movies.

Still <3 Chasym though. I plan on watching Ink sometime this week, but I will pass on this one :)
