Additional Information: This party has some story to it! Yesterday Jamal and I were challenged by Vang to "PT with a real MNK". We were told that all the MNK's we had PT'd with had done poorly and Vang believed that Cami could outparse me easily and come within at least 50 damage of Jamal if not outparse him as well. So we setup a party to see if all the smack talking was just hype or if we had a super MNK on our hands. I will let the results speak for themself.

I was wondering when this parse would show up. As the above poster said, I would be curious how Cami would parse using sushi, I would imagine numbers would be a bit higher.

74% acc is yuck.

its *about* impossible to beat a war/nin with ridill as mnk/nin. it just isnt realistic, there isnt enough rounds of attack and tp build to outparse that. (plus you lose berserk).... its possible to beat an average everyday war (as seen with cami vs johnnyb)

i can beat most WARs with mnk/war as shown in a parse (and yes even a ridill war at times), and yeah, its a slight mp sponge.. thats kinda obvious if you're outdamaging a war like that, you will have alot of hate but... to be fair... who cares in that type of party if you have a whm good with mp conservation? our whm (rappa) in that merit party rarely ran out of mp, and we did some pretty high chains still and lost them due to mob availability, not mp.

I've yet to party with a mnk out there, but I've partied with BigD (drk) there when he was /war and his spongeyness was not all that much worse than mine or Mot's (another war/nin).

Firespit goes through shadows. I've partied out there on mnk/nin and I was always getting hit through shadows.

JB was up on Cami at the mid-point of the night by like 10-20 points, dunno what happened after that.

damage is reduced with shadows, if you have 3 shadows up its absorbed, chances of all 3 up are slim, but getting hit with a MNK mob attack then firespit can equal a quick death^^

Ah, I haven't been able to get many parties out there so I wasn't aware of that. /Nin is a must though, I tried going as /war one time and I kept dying from my ownage.

you'll die if your party isnt good. not if you go with a good group

He doesnt have a Ridill so not everything, and one of the best items a War could use heh.

I guess it was only a matter of time before this ended up here. Oh and it may just be me but I tend to ignore the accuracy stat for the most part in Thickets... mostly because the Puk's use Flash and that can totally kill your accuracy, Ive ranged from 84-93% in parties there, the faster you switch targets and waste swings on the next mob the lower your accuracy tends to be it seems. And I don't see how you can argue that Hedgehog Pie is a much worse food then Sushi on VT-IT mobs because afaik Meat is a better alternative for MNK's on VT mobs then Sushi. So I prefer to look at the more detailed summary to see exactly how much melee dmg people were doing and how much weapon skill dmg.

kinda. i mean, some of those mobs are pretty hard to hit, and sometimes with some of the mamools i find myself using sniper ring instead of flame ring for better acc. (unless focus is up)... <and i have about 3 h2h merits now>

hedgehog pie is only acc+5 while sole sushi is +15% -- big difference when you are trying to hit harder to hit mobs. (not the puks, those are a walk in the park)

yes, flash overall will lower EVERYONES acc, not really just one person more than another (over time it all evens out).. and besides, everyone should be fighting the same mob..

In comparing cheap sushi (bream) to cheap meat (sis kebabi) foods, I parsed pretty much exactly the same avg damage at ~10% less acc on meat. Difference was <20 per fight over the course of about 90 fights per parse. Haven't parsed pricey acc to pricey meat foods yet.
