{Hmmm.} Me and meh friend are thinking of throwing a partah on August 7th and 8th. Yes, two days. One will be for country music/ho down and the other for whatever else. Occassion being : We've had one hell of a boring summer.

SoOoOo... We live in the Quad Cities of boring Illinois. I want to know how many people could make it before we start with party preps and shit. Currently, we have 21 people.

I am wearin' my cowboy hat and cowboy boots for the ho down. Feel free to not make me look like the only idiot there :)

We juz wanna see how many ppl we can get to the party before we plan a place and time and everything else. Plenty of mulah from summer work to pay for shit. I especially want to see some BoL and NAFB there!!!

Juz seeing who could come. We may plan it for a later date. Juz let me know. We're trying to do it before school but later date can work, too. Give me some time to get more mulah for more shit.

Reply so I can see who can make it either this one or the later date. Any later and we'll have to do it inside. @.@;

I KNOW I'll go all out. That's just how I am. Was just hoping others would at LEAST wear that so I wouldn't be the only one! I don't care if I am though! xD
 
Where is "Quad Cities of ol boring Illinois"? I'm from a NW chicago Burb, so I know nothing of the "down-south" part at all. :lol:

Not so much Missouri... 2 of the quad cities are Moline IL and Davenport IA.

Just so happens I'll be in Iowa City the 2-5 of August on business...this is a possibility...will do some checking on stuff and stuff.

How far is that from The NW suburbs? I would love to meet all you guys and get to know everyone better since I barely know anyone from these forums since I dont belong to the major LSs here.
 
We live in Milan, IL. Mapquest that and you got us. Just PM me which interstate/road you enter on and I can give directions from there.

Start out going EAST on S LUMBER ST toward S HALSTED ST. (<0.1 miles)
Turn LEFT onto S HALSTED ST. (0.3 miles)
Turn RIGHT onto S CANALPORT AVE. (<0.1 miles)
Take the I-90 E / I-94 E / I-55 N / I-55 S ramp. (0.1 miles)
Merge onto I-55 S toward ST LOUIS. (42.2 miles)
Merge onto I-80 W via EXIT 250B toward DES MOINES. (116.1 miles)
Merge onto I-280 W. (11.9 miles)
Take the AIRPORT RD exit - EXIT 15 - toward MILAN / US 67. (0.3 miles)
Take the ramp toward MILAN / US 67. (<0.1 miles)

Talk about supa west side! So when you say Country music Ho down, you guys going to do some line dancing huh.. to maybe some Achy Breaky Heart? Tenk is the Achy Breaky Heart Line dance champion btw. 8)

Well, I think I'm going to start the whole line dancing stuff. I'm crazy like that lol. It will be a request line for Country one day and a request for anything the next. I think we're either going to get the club that my aunt owns or another club. We'll be renting the country station to come out and do music for us the first day then the mix station the 2nd. I'm bringing all the CDs and everything incase they don't have some songs anymore. I'll also pay for all the hotel, food, and gas expenses while you're here. Getting here and back is up to you.

We'll have my friend work the bar so anyone over 21 can drink and I'll carpool them to and from the hotel those nights. We'll have soda and juice and everything. We'll have pizza, hamburgers, and desserts as well as chips, dip, etc.

After this, I'm going to be tight as hell on money for a while but it's worth it for some fun.

Anyone is free to stay as long as they want and I'll take those days off work but after Monday night, I can't keep paying for the hotel rooms. I still have to pay my bills for 3 people next month lol.

Anyway, I just need RSVPs. I know for sure I'm throwing this one and another one later on for the hell of it. I just need to know how much food, drinks, etc I'll need for this one.

Off to bed. Work in 6 hours. x.x; Hope to see some of you make it. Where's my BoLers?
 
Ok. Since no one on here RSVPed, I'll go ahead and have the party with people from around here and from my other forum. We WILL be throwing other events for a while. Like vacation to so and so, parties, get togethers, etc. I'll post them as we figure them out. :D

lol I wish I could, but that is a 15 hour drive I don't think I could take lol Get your cowgirl ass out to NY and let us show you how a real party operates. :twisted:
