Party Invites....

Blah... One of the reasons why I hate replacing people in parties. You agree to do it then get your ass all the way to where the hell they are and then party decides to disband. Had that happen to me in KRT this pass week too.

As for the OP, I have chosen not to replace anyone in a party ever since a simliar thing happened to me at the CN. Boy, I was mad too... got all dressed up for nothin' and got pwnd by a passing Soldier Crawler train to the zone.

But now I have to go through these conversations...

(Someguy)yo, can u replace me in [Crawler's Nest]?
(Excim)Nah, I don't do that.
(Someguy)wat u mean u dont do that?
(Excim)I mean I don't replace people in parties. I hate it when I get there and the party disbands after a half hour.

Well i had this happen to me alot, and i cant tell u how much i hate it. I remember this party i had in kuftal where everyone got killed by guivre cause they were stupid and kept going to see "if hes still there" i was the only person who did not die, and this is 1hr into tryin to find a camp, so we disband.

but i think the worst trip i made was all the way to sky to replace someone... and i get there and the person tells me the pt leaders name and logs off, i send a tell to the leader and they say....we are disbanding, we didnt even know you were coming. I was pissed.
at least they came out and D2'd me.
and these things are more anger causing when you wait for hours on end, 10+ hours to get a pt....and thats what u get....grrr
 
Everyone needs to go and read this thread from Mac's original post on to the end and then ask yourself one question......

When did this go from someone not giving any notice to Mac and making him waste time and money to people debating who's ruder and more selfish....English or Japanese players?

I've met both English and Japanese players who make me scream with frustration btw so to quote an old song "....people are people...."

How is a clasic representation of Perigrins dynamis runs, hillarious.
I fail to see how someone failing to act profesional and makeing me throw away XP for no reason other than blatent stupidity on Neosqualls part is funny!

So you're saying you weren't MPK'd? You were somehow mysteriously forced into "throwing XP away"? Throw some my way, will yah?


It's funny because even in an alliance where people are supposed to help each other for the groups gain and for thier own personal gain, someone out there despises you enough to jeapordize all of that. And that, Yoshindor, like it or not, is funny to me.

So, what did you do anyways? And how did he force you to throw away your XP???
 
Bringing Japanese players in to this was rather stupid <.<; The times I seek on are very similar to the times JP players party, and they rarely replace someone. Actually, only time I've seen them replace someone is if someone DC's. They go to camp together, and leave the camp together. Its a courtesy thing.

Also, they almost always disband around midnight or 1 AM their time, check it yourself. And yes, they will, just like many NA, leave a bad party. No one want to spend their time in a party where you only get 1k exp an hour or so. You might aswell disband then for everyones sake (heck, I can solo for more exp an hour then that)

Another reason many JP just say things like {Have stuff to do, gotta go!} and then disband is that they don't know how to explain it to the rest of the party.

While there are Japanese players that are complete assholes, there are also a whole lot of NA's that are assholes. There's many Japanese players that's nice, and there's many NA players that are nice.

Oh, and to the OP. That sucks =/ I hate when that happends to me. I usually just /blist them and move along.
