I've stayed outa this thread for a damn good while, until now. I don't know what happened between you and Keitaro, but I do know for a fact you aren't gonna meet any people nicer or willing to help than the people who are in that shell.

I've been a Keitaro member for a long time. That is my main home. I may not have been in the shell too much before the month or shell, but I've never quit posting on the boards and have always been a part of the Keitaro/Force Council family. I don't know a person in there who has "an attitude problem", and I honestly don't appreciate you saying that.

Furthermore, the majority of people who are in Keitaro range in age from about 26-44 (me being the 44 year old). Most of us are married with children of their own and very responsible, hard working adults. I just cannot fathom where you could say that they/we have attitude problems. The members of Keitaro are imho the most giving and helpful people you'd ever meet.

Lastly, there are some younger people in the shell, but what I've seen so far, they are very responsible young adults who don't act childish in any way, shape or form.

I truly believe you better backpedal on that last post and big time. I, for one, do NOT appreciate it.

i can tell you not that high lvl or you would know that the first 2 hat there are dam near impossible to get.

why am i not surpise. I see the normal argument melee deserve more the mage. Mage sould go last. See if this was a linkshell event then yes melee sould get dibs frist, but if it is a pick up/ open invite then the rule change.
You dont know these people and they dont know you. So it should go the person who set up party get hat first<or person who leader is doing event for> then everyone else do lottery. same go for carbie mitts, rum pumps, revive mail or any other ??? pop nms. I got my carbie mitts my smn is only lvl 3. I got my o hat my closes melee job is only 33. why because the oppetunity arise to get it so i got it. you never know when you need it if someone will be willing to help you get so you take thing when they come to you. If a mage spent the time to get all the eyes then have it syth into a eye soup thing then he sould have every right to get his hat. plus if everyone is suppost to get a hat then why much the mage go last.

65 or 68, it's still true that:

1 - You are asking a bunch of strangers to come do a fight for you so that you can leech an item you can't even equip yet.

2 - You haven't ever been to a HKTK fight, so you don't know what to expect. You are trying to lead a run despite this. It's obvious how much research you've done on the fight by your post about taking AoE damage. (you won't take any AoE damage if people do their job, and you know wtf is going on)

3 - You realize that you will be virtually useless for this fight, yet you want yourself and other useless/easily replaced players to get ultimate high first dibs priority on the drop over the people that you need for the fight, just because you'll use it for 3 levels of exp. This is a single run, and anyone that doesn't get their hat on this fight won't be able to count on the people they helped out on this run to help them with their run. They would likely respond "wtf you're a mage, you don't need a hat."

There was someone there who was level 50 and in greater need for the item, so your THF had no business lotting it. Papyrus for a 20-something or 30-something THF? That's little more than a novelty item. I wasn't even the LS at the time, but I was helping out by wandering off and soloing Liches on my own, and eventually duoing them with Numa. I would have gotten you one eventually, though I would have probably told you to at least level into the 40s first. That was a long night for everyone.

I think i did. me and Deeadra were there getting our papers, we had gotten clay earlier that night and were going out to get paper. Someone in LS needed it as well so we made an Allience to get it. First, if you all were so UBER lvl's you'd of know that alliences hurt drops. Second, Where was the thf 2? I knew why passions was going, they knew it and maybe they just don't want to admit it. WTF else would i of brought her and had her in the zone? Why would i of brought deeadra if i wasn't helping someone else? don't believe me I HAVE A PICTURE OF THAT NIGHT!

I don't quite understand this, so if I'm reading this wrong and not answering accordingly, sorry bout that.

My take on this is that you're saying Keitaro members were upset with you for changing to a different endgame shell from theirs. Sorry to say, but from you sig you don't even one job high enough to be in an endgame shell. So I don't get it.

When I started in Keitaro, Laur and I were the highest members in the LS. As a matter of fact, I was the first person from Keitaro to hit level 75. I had no other choice but to go to a HL shell at that time for my endgame needs. It was a very hard decision for me and I chatted with Kal in-depth about what to do. He totally understood my dilemna and basically said good luck and I'll be a part of the Keitaro family always. I have tried to never let the members down, and whenever they've needed me I've been there for them. That really doesn't matter though. I'm just giving you some background. Furthermore, Keitaro does not make you wear "just" their shell. They never have.

Keitaro doesn't have enough high level members to this day to have an God's shell. They put Keitaro Gods on hold 'til a later date. They were going to try recruiting for the Gods shell, but decided against it. They would rather have a family atmosphere like they have now rather than a bunch of greedy members fighting over who gets what when.

If you look in the recruitment thread here on the boards Nalia even says it's for the older or more responsible people who play FFXI. They do not want drama. Mebbe you were causing too much drama. Don't know what else to tell ya. Matter of fact, here's the link:

What I do know, is if that Ancient Papyrus was for another member and you lotted on it as a level 20, bottom line it was a damn shitty thing to do. It's definitely along the lines of the title of this thread.

...But regarding the "who deserves an OH, who doesn't"..no one -deserves- it more than another job. Everyones gonna farm the same mobs or toss out the same gil for a cluster. Everyone who goes to a run is gonna do some job (granted, the tanks have a rough time and the stunners are stressed to time properly)..it all boils down to who'd use it the most, and in the most effecient manner. Yes, If a RNG is almost 70 (or even 70+) I think they should get an OH before most other jobs. Same with alot of melees...but I don't think mages "don't ever need an OH".

Just because mages don't melee in parties doesn't mean they never, ever melee. If they hafto wait a few runs to get the "more needing" people an OH, fair enough, but giving them a flat-out thumbs down is just unfair..I mean if they went on a few runs and did their job well, don't they deserve something out of it too? Even more confusing that alot of people let PLD get OH (10acc > 20+ def and vit and enmity in parties?) but object to mages getting it..oh well though, some things I won't ever understand.

Its not like you were even helping out at the time - We were all much higher level than even pandorda (who you were playing) as solely a melee rdm/nin (lvl 40ish) You were also always off lvling and never helped w events.

One of the people in the LS had just capped out 50 and badly NEEDED a piece of Papyrus for Genkai 1 to break the cap. So @ 20 of us took our sunday night to farm it. took several hours. You parked your 20 thf at the door and told us it would help the drop rate. Whatever, not how it works but We are pretty kind to low lvls in the LS. When We finally got the drop everyone passed but the BST we were getting these for, and suddenly Passions lots and snagged it from the person who NEEDED it and who everyone was getting this for. crappy part is Passions still hasnt broken the 51 barrier over five months later months later. You really needed it for your thf

I'll basically let the above speak for itself. As far as the level of your thf, yah that's a big damn difference bein' lvl 24 vs. lvl 20. Especially when you don't need the paper for a minimum of another 26 levels. Actually almost 27 cuz we all know you can be 1 tnl of lvl 51. Hmmmm ...

Also, i was always out lvling during events? WHA, ok FIRST you guys did events while i was at work, so how could i be lvling if i was working? what was the big argument about them putting a hold on garrisons because people like NUMA and others were late and missing it because they were busy doing sky?

Why do you need full af before you lvl warrior? sound pretty selfish for doing that i must say. i think we should help all the warriors that need it NOW before you get it, you can wait kat go lvl warrior some more befor worring about af.

Firstly, I am getting all of Warrior AF on my own. I do believe what I do with my own time ingame is mine to choose with as I please don't you think? Secondly, my Warrior is lvl 50. I can start wearing the first piece of AF armour that I've gotten on my own at level 52. That was a really silly comeback dude. You're definitely runnin' out of ammo there.

I think in the 4hrs or whatever someone could of said something about my thf being there, and i'm pretty sure i wouldn't of lied and said it was for thf 1 only. No i had her there for the paper, and no one complained untill they all wanted to give up which is utter bullshit. my friend dee didn't get her's we got that a different night so WAA again. my first paper wasn't dropped on my first night either. took me 3 nights and more then 1 death to get it ask torque about that.
