I came across this while at work and was wondering if anyone has given it a try. http://pmog.com/

The game doesn’t really require you do do much besides just browsing the web. You get points for visiting certain sites and you can earn badges for visiting certain sites regularly. You can also leave traps on sites that detonate when the next PMOG player visits the page.

i love searching the web
but this as a game is a stretch

I remember reading about this a few months ago.
Gonna sign up when I get home.

I imagine this turning into something just as aggressive, competitive and elitist as any MMORPG or online game for that matter. People pwning other people with mines, people complaining about it, and people having the best badges available throwing verbal shit-bombs at newbie members, lol.

There used to be a game (probably still there) on irc on efnet called idlerpg (in #idlerpg) where you set a password on the bot in the channel and you got experience points for just idling in the channel. You'd randomly get messages sometimes from the bot saying you found new equipment and that you fought some other player and either won or lost, etc. It was interesting.

Sounds a lot like Progress Quest.

There needs to be an online action/adventure RPG, where the most cherished items are pr0n.

You could like, enhance equipment and magics with said pr0n. I think it'd be a great idea.
