This hardly has anything to do with the religion on whole so please note i could care if you are christian or republican or whatever.
The fact of the matter is these comments were made by a fanatical republican christian aka rich old white guy, and as we all know people who love jesus support "going ahead and assasinating dictators" (paraphrase) and saying "We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability." What i love the most is even in the christian fundamentalist crowd there's still a bit of dissention about the war as shown in this statement "We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with." Damn shame he wasen't talking about our strongarm dictator .. excuse me, the more accurate term would be fiscally irresponsible unaccountable CEO... anyway .. bashing aside see the story here and decide for yourself, the guy claims he was taken out of context but that's a complete load of backpeddling job-saving bullshit.
