Pathetic ninjas and level sync.

I will just say this. A warrior/ninja is a hell of a lot better tank than a pre-37 ninja/warrior. Although there were times where taking a beating weren't fun. However, they fill a needed slot for a good two levels.

Olrox knows that hume NIN > his lolelvaan nin!

... and what do I see. /sea all 35-50 nin inv, mostly ninjas under 40.... /seacom says? SYNC 37+ ONLY..... So my question is, when the fuck did every player become a fucking pussy? No one can handle not having ni anymore.. I mean.. ever tank as war? People are so lazy about this game now and people wonder why I'm such a dick when it comes to race and gear when it comes to joining my events... that is all.

I think SYNC is great. However, If you always sync to a lower level or doing events with level caps than what your actually gaining levels for then it kind of defeats the purpose of leveling. Leveling nin pre-37 was hard. NIN tanking at that level is a SHARED responsibility. A nin can easily die through no real fault of his own. I've had situations without a second voke or a second voke that took too much hate and wasted mp only to not have said mp available for the main tank not to mention bad, slow, or non-healers. There are lots of things that can go wrong, however that's not my point.

My point is, that if I went ninja in order to get to a level where my ninja didn't get hit or got hit far less often why would I want to go back? That's like moving back to the ghetto when you're a millionaire. It's not even a matter of whether or not I could or not. I just wouldn't want to be without certain abilities that I worked hard to get.

But your initial frustration was absolutely warranted. If you join a party you should 1) know what you're getting into and 2) be loyal the party leader and 3) make it work the best you can and if you have to go do it on the leader's terms, not just yours.

Here's a little frustration I had. I was leveling DNC and as most of you know, DNC is pretty awesome and can solo xp pretty well. But I hadn't really partied in many moons so I decided to party in the dunes. I of course end up tanking. Although I died 5-6 times at least and wasted at least 20k in the process I stayed loyal to the pt. And after the pt disbanded I was getting more xp by myself easily. Said all that to say that often times the conditions of a party make it not worth it to join, especially if you believe that you'll be the main one loosing xp.
