Why can't Squeenix make a card payment method like WoW? My dad won't let me use his credit card anymore and if this keeps up for 3 months I lose my char.... I really don't want to waste my char away after all my work. Oh, wait, Flameboard, grrrrr Squeenix! :?
 
Answa what you could do is this. If you do have a job(or any way of income) or was paying your dad for your monthly fee back, open a free checking account with a debit card option (you wont be able to get a visa or anything until you have some credit history so bank card will work). Just have your dad go in if you are under 18 and sign for your account with you and it'll work. I've had my own bank account since I was 16 (4 years ago) at Washington Mutual (Plug =P) and they were very eager to get me going. No hidden fees or charges. I will advise you though just because I see it happen often, don't spend what you dont have, it will hurt you terribly in the long run :) Good luck on you situation.
 
Can you get Na get debit cards? i have one and im 16, its like a credit card but you dont get any interest or penalties. May consider having a look
 
SE lets people use their debit cards for POL/FFXI accounts. If you have a checking account with a debit card (VISA logo preferably), you can input that in. Although, the payment will automatically be taken out every month. So as long as you have at least twenty dollars in the account each month, billing should not be a problem.
 
Actually, I'll try to get it going when I get my 18 years... 5 days to go.
I think I understood, gonna try and see if these banks have anything remotely similar to what you have. I don't have a job, since I'm moving to college soon and don't wanna have any fuss, I'll find a job there, but I do keep most of my lunch money. So, I hope it works, thanks people!

the Debit option is only availble in the US.
 
you have two options here getting a checking account with a debit card OR there are prepaid debet cards out there too in fact it was a playonline rep that directed me to it before I go tmy checkingt out I used a prepaid master card its like those prepaid phone cards you go and put X amount of dollars on it an dit works just like a debet card here is a link to on eof these serveces:

I should add that when you do get your credit card you should realize thats while its a great thing to have, it can also mess up your future. If used wisely that credit card can make your life alot easier, if abused, it can ruin your credit history and make you burn alot of unnecessary cash. Pay off your DEBTS.
 
By the way, dunno if they mention it on the site or anything, but one neat little load of bullsh-!t you may hafto deal with is a ~15$ "reactivation fee". -_- Really sucks when you can't afford it for one month, reactivate it one month later and wind up paying for the previous month anyways minus any possible playtime..
