PC Controller capability (Please Help ; ;)

Really need some help here.

I got a Cordless Rumblepad 2 From Logitech. On the PoL Site it claims to be the "Preferred" Controller. Well...

Why can't I use it on FFXI?

I've installed, and it did so properly.
I've been w/out a controller going on two weeks now, and don't enjoy playing on just my keyboard.

Anyone know why this might be happening?

if you go have any ideas let me know pls. (Been in the line for PoL Customer Support for 45 min now)

Had simular issue long ago with my control. Well first it has to be installed which you seem to have accomplished. After that I made sure I went to control panal > Game controllers and made sure my control was listed there active, make sure its plugged in.

Now getting it to work with FFXI is done by going to your Start menu>all programs>Playonline>FFXI>FFXI Config

In there you can enable the control, set buttons, etc. Play around with it and it should work. You can do the same for the POL menus but I use my keyboard to log in and mouse to navigate around. Its done the same way just go to POL>POL config.

Thanks man, I'm gonna go try that now. I waited an Hour for a GM, no luck, Now waiting on the phone w/ PoL for about 45 min. I hope this will work.
