Agree totally. Especially the bolded part. The archers ring is going to be a backfire on the scale of Astrals X 5. If they were going to interupt the gilsellers, they should of either made the rings purchasable from NPC or craftable.
I also agree with the speed belt, but the difference is that it takes a group to take down the king, and is not easily soloable like argus.

don't worry, you can still broker the AH and help to ruin the economy on items by buying and reselling.

From the Screenie, it looks like 3 BSTs. I have seen the discussion boards on this BCNM on Alla, but noone giving a successful strat.

Is the OP willing to share how it was done?
 
I sortof agree that everyone should be able to get anything...but really, at the moment, everyone had a chance to get everything. There was no 0% shot but it was still too low for people to be comfortable with. =\'

PCC is good...OK, great, but it's really not at all needed. Thousands of people got by without one, so sure it'll make stuff easier but I'm gonna scream if it becomes one of those "make or break the party" equips for melees..

In my opinion, it probably would've helped everyone much more if they just made some new BC's/KS's that drop some of the horrifically-manopoloized Abjuration, but that's just me. Yes, it'd probably inflate a thing or two but it'd at least give some people half a hope of getting an armor they've dreamed of, instead of camping Nidhogg or Apsi for a couple months before even getting the chance to lot on the Abj they need, if it even drops.

And regarding the BCNM for PCC, maybe 3 smn where one uses their 2H each run?
 
Wow, first off Odon you are tagging around every post i make and smarting off so I don't know what your problem is. Time is money, and yes i know I could make gil in that time blah blah, but I think it's pretty obvious my time management and profits > 98% of the servers and their farming beehive chips or fucking rarab tails or whatever it is you people do to scrape by.

Look at emp pin, back up to 900k with a week. It's obvious people are lazy. I camped Argus in his window as well to see the outcome, 2 other campers, that's it.

Put your money where your mouths are, you wanted it, you got it. Yet I see none of you at any of these camp sites because all along, Meeze, Tiya, others and I know you are too lazy to get anything yourself.

I have to agree with Vang.

If you can't spare about 2 minutes tops of actively camping a NM over it's 3 hour big window(You can go afk for a total most of it and be safe if you know how it works,) you don't deserve it.

Such sad, sad people. My argument wasn't that I have a life outside of FFXI, basically it was that this is just a freaking game. Sure PCC isn't a required item but I have been playing this game for 2 years and now that I am leveling Sam I want one, and now I actually have a better chance of getting one. You people should be happy that your party members and LS mates have a better opportunity to get some top notch gear. It's not like they are give PCC away in Lower Jueno for free.

Must have something to do with that inferiority complex thing. Oh well, it doesn't bother me and I am a filthy rich Ranger anyways who could buy one if I readjusted some wealth, but I think it is more satisfying to BC for one.

Also, economy wise, I hear in England, gasoline is something like $8-9 per gallon and we complain about our $2-3 per gallon prices. America may not be the most friendly place in the world to those who piss us off, but we sure are good to our own.
