Exactly. Is it just me or is this forum just getting to the point where you can't say anything remotely "bad" about anyone?

Infact that's going in my sig. Unless of course you don't want it to Mokk. Wouldn't want to upset someone by quoting something they agree with / thought was true.

Edit - I think that would make my sig to big tbh. Crap.

So Shaidalyn said something, then cried about it when people (I believe saw it in more than 1 sig, as the quote was monumentaly hilarious) quoted her?

That's takin it a bit far isn't it? I mean, she did say it. Other people get quoted in sigs all the time, they never cried about it. Silly girl. If you are ashamed of what you said, you should have never said it in the first place.

Eulore is cool, and he's a good guy. He Broke no rules (quoting somone is NOT harassment, be it in your sig or your post) and was moderated anyway.

Boo sculli. Booooo.
 
It has always been policy around here since QCDN came about that those who posted something and didn't want it quoted in other people's sigs could PM me and ask me to remove it from those sigs. In fact, Tiael, someone who had the Shaidalyn quote in his sig, asked me to make Shaunessy not use Tiael in his sig/avatar.

Regardless, the policy is not new, it has been often used in the past, and it will continue to be used.

I understand that some people feel this is not the way it should be. I am sorry you feel that way, but it's not going to change the fact that I will ask people to remove quotes if the quoted makes such a request.

Honestly, this is one topic I'm going to have to disagree with. Mokk seriously wins this arguement. Very nicely said.

In other news, I'm going to throw a shit-fit at Swishiee for having a quote of mine that makes me seem like a whore. Kidding, of course, but that seems like the way this is presented.

Shouldn't someone who is on read-only access have less rights than someone who isn't? It makes sense. She screwed up, not Eulore.
 
Trippy, I think you are confusing the issue here. The only one who can comment on this with authority is me. A QCDN user asked me to ask those who use the user's wiritngs in a quote to remove that quote. I acted on that as I have done numerous times in the past for a host of other QCDN users.

Not sure why this is so much of an issue, I don't remember anyone raising hell over the past few dozen times this happened. Could it be that this is just a collective mobbing of Shaidalyn? Shaidalyn is already on Read-Only, further attempts at bringing her down over something she didn't even write at QCDN are meaningless and I will not stand by to support them.

It's because people realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly hate her, like well beyond how someone should feel about someone else who plays the same videogame as they do. Read the topic on qcnn, it's kinda creepy.

Edit: For what it's worth, she does a good job of bringing other people's ire onto her. But still, this seems to go beyond reason into plain stupidity.

Then they were cry babies too. If you say something stupid, prepare to defend yourself. The issue I'm having is that Eulore wasn't doing anything wrong and he got moderated for it.

Well, i'll tell ya one thing, if I had a grain of respect left for her before, it's all gone now. The fact that she didn't say this on qcdn does make a little bit of a difference. It should have been a screenshot of the text instead of typed. That's the only difference.

If she really had a problem with the quote, she should of publicly said "I was wrong" or "I change my oppinions" or something of that nature, or you can stand by it, in which case why wouldn't you want everyone to see it?

I really wish people would be more willing to own up to their mistakes, or defend their oppinion, not simply ignore it by trying to limit exposure.
