Now whether the user requested it or not is the issue; not the actual content. That's why sculli said that he edited Eulore's sig, that's why this whole thing started; not just because someone quoted something that showed someone in bad light.

Edit: if no one cares about it, there's no reason for it to be edited.

Since you can't grasp the concept of shutting your noise hole and reading let me quote for you what i was getting at.

This includes, but is not limited to: name-calling ("You're an idiot", "You moron"); direct insults and orders ("Screw you", "Go kill yourself"); insinuations ("Are you stupid or something?"); or insults towards family ("Your mom..."). Repeated condescending and/or sarcastic posts toward a linkshell or a member can also constitute harassment.

You can't claim this as a standard if it's not been enforced corresponding to the change in standards. It negates it being a 'standard'. Moreover if your idea of enforcement is waiting until someone's panties get twisted enough to tell you about it you're obviously not that keen on grabbing the reigns and making some changes in the first place, now are you? It's sorta like sweeping the dirt up on top of the rug instead of under it around here lately.

Granted precognition is not passed out to board administrators or mods but my example spoke to a longstanding sig that broke standards. Meanwhile someone goes emo and it gets hopped on all but immediately.

I don't see anything about quoting other people in there. Harrassment? Yes it would fall under those rules. But I'm not quoting people to harrass them, I already stated this fact. I put that in my sig because it's very funny.

Quoted mostly for the part where you agreed that your posts, and subquently your sigs, could be edited at the descretion of the owner of the site. If Sculli wants to edit all of your posts to say "My name is Dowzer, I have metal joints. Beat me up, earn 15 silver points" he can, and you totally agreed to this.

Might want to try doing that yourself, since that's NOT WHY SCULLI ACTED. The quote wasn't a flame on the user, it was just something stupid they said. She asked Sculli to ask the other people to remove it from their sigs, and eulore apparently got pissy over it.

I know where you're going, why didn't Sculli ask Tag to change his sig? I have no idea, it could have been he didn't know about it. He probably doesn't check sigs unless they break the board, or unless someone reports it. Regardless of if it's an oversight or if he's intentionally doing it or not; it doesn't have any bearing on the thread because BLAZN DIDN'T ASK TO HAVE IT REMOVED.

Long-standing as in maybe a week old at the most? If it had been around before the QCDN changes then I could see your point, but when people have a quote in their sig and then change it to another quote of similar length, most people won't notice it. Hell, I very rarely read the quotes in anyone's sig, it's not hard to imagine that Sculli might do that too.
