NOTHING.. is selling.. as fast as i want it too..

I miss christmas where high dollar items flowed in and out of the Auction House and bazaars like water from a faucet..

I mad good money then.. Now im making stuff.. farming stuff.. that sells for half as much.. and TWICE as slow!

wtf D: go buy some more gil and buy my items, dammit!

Based on absolutely zero evidence, I'll say... ummm... maybe they're waiting for the expansion to see what new items will be introduced and how the economy will be affected?

That, or their parents caught them and smacked them hard when they took away the credit cards.

saving their gilbuying money to pick up the expansion I bet.

i like how you try to make it look like only young bucks buy gil, you'd be suprised.

Nah, not really. As I said, I was throwing out explanations with nothing to back them up. I have no doubt most gil buying is done by the adults with the disposable income.

Be careful what you ask for...

We crafters can only hope gil buying booms again come xmas so we can fatten our wallets and wait for it to crash again xD

I think another reason why gilbuyers do not buy gil is probably because SE is cracking down on buyers/sellers through tracking heavy transactions.

If these people truly care about their accounts, then they would refrain.
Otherwise, they would continue to buy if there is any.

Its the same thing when FFXI had issues with people doing cheats in the game such as the speed hack, and other miscellanous stuff.

The people that cared, stopped.
The people that didn't, did it anyway and got eventually banned.

I'm actually kinda glad the whole buyer/seller thing churned down.
I like an ecomony that is calmer. :-D

Though I must admit, food such as sushi has inflated greatly.

I HAD been experiencing the same problems, Drac, with as much as TWO FREAKING DAYS going by without anything selling at the AH on either my main or on my two mules... and I deal in mainly consumeables!

However! Since the expansion got released, everything, EVERYTHING has been selling like hotcakes. So keep your chin up, I think part of it has to do with old players coming back in the game, new players picking it up, and of course, probably some degree of gil buying involved. :)

/nod, everything I was making a killing off of has dropped of signifigantly... /cry

I never thought I'd remotely consider gilbuying good, but the drastic witch hunt everyone wished for has come round to bite every crafter in the ass.

I too would like to see a slightly more vibrant economy. I'd say if such a thing were possible, Vanadiel is in a depression atm.

Yeah

we all should save thoes screen shots as wall paper
