When he's butchering the English language and half the time wasn't even typing out real words, yes. Using different words doesn't denote a lack of intelligence, using fragments of words does. I'd give some leniency if he was unable to type/talk correctly, but he proved that he could, so it was his choice to sound like an idiot; which is how people responded to him, just like you.

I am in college. Do you see me talking like that? Forming a coherant sentance is not that difficult to do. A capital letter here, a punctuation mark there, and a sentance you have. Typing the way you do is not 'a little different'. It is as much annoying as it is an eye sore. It makes you look ignorant and yes, like an idiot.

Typing like a moron isn't lazy, it's being stupid. I am lazy, but I actually manage to type out YOU and not just U.

If he types like that in college, he's going to fail, and fast. None of my college professors would give him any leeway because that's how he wants to portray himself.

Talking different is one thing, but talking incomprehensibly like you and he do is another entirely. I understand that I will say things differently than someone who grew up in another area, even though we speak the same language; there are regional idioms that come into play. What you're doing, is fucking up the language by shredding the words and trying to associate some meaning from them. Hell, you're just a few steps above grunting at that point.
