I was invited to join a party in Quifum last night. It wasn't a bad setup at first, but then I found out we had a 50+ RDM powerleveling the group; he beat me to the Cures every time, so I was left to buff and skillup my Divine until I finally got bored with being an xp leech and left. That's not really the subject of my flame, though.

Before the boredom set in, we moved into the narrow passage I've heard called "Pugil Alley" to chain Greater Pugils. Some player named Pepsii started grouching at us for "invading" his camp, even though the area is large enough to support two or three camps. He said he'd pull Wights and Banshees into our camp if we didn't leave. We didn't, and he did.

This was the only time in the course of the evening I was thankful for the 50+ RDM, because he made short work of both mobs. We took care of another Wight which wandered in. At some point during the fight I saw Pepsii had died.

I love being a WHM, and I love using Raise... but I refused to give one to Pepsii. He homepointed and came back to taunt us about how he had been joking when we first arrived and that we had "disrespected" him. I didn't care about anything he had to say at that point, and so Pepsii became the first name on my blacklist.

He may normally be a nice player worthy of song in the mountain halls of Vana'diel, but the level of immaturity and malice he displayed last night was above and beyond the usual level of assholery I expect to encounter.

I have been wondering why poeple have been so mean to me lately.... i just got through tell an old friend about that... and he told me this might be why... I didn't even know about this website before.

Explanation of the event you spoke of: That day i was in a very good mood I leveled 2 times and thats good for me because i am an eternal newb, hehe. When you're party came into the "Pugil Alley" I WAS joking... I thought it was funny when i said to leave "MY camp" because that's just silly to say it was mine ecpesialy at a place that, yes, DOES hold 2-3 parties. That Elizabeth girl was mean to me about my joking though, even when i spesified that i am sorry it was a joke... THAT is why i got so upset... and the only reason I pulled thing to your party is pecause there where TWO high levels there with you and I knew no one would get hurt. I just wanted to makea point. (btw i dies 3 times knowingly just to make that point.) She was VERY hurtful and rude to me being that I WAS only joking and I started in a good mood, for once I was happy, and this was the first time in game or in my life that I wasn't a push over and let poeple hurt me. It realy hurts me that you posted this as well... I have been going through SO much in my life resently and have been hurt by how mean people have been to me in game... i haven't played much 'till a few days ago because of this....
I am very sorry that I upset you... i only meant to hurt the people who hurt me.... this is the first time a game has made my cry (damn breakdowns) thanks so much for this... i needed it. (sorry for sarcasm aswells).
I expect to get some very cruel replys to this from you and others... saying how my talking about a breaking is for pitty and that im a "newb" and that I am still a peace of shit.... but you will be wrong. and I will deal with those comments when the time comes... Pepsii, it's one thing to go after the player who's being a jerk (and there was a lot of immaturity in my party; I'm not going to deny that). But you went after our entire party by pulling that stuff. High-levels or not, it was still a rotten thing to do because you knew the possible outcomes. I was there for xp (as bored as I was), not a pissing contest over territory.

You made me angrier than I've ever been at another player since I started this game, but you came on here and explained yourself. I give points for that. I'll take your apology with a grain of salt, doubly so after seeing your other thread about your hard life and calling me a "simple-minded gaming nerd" for getting mad at you when my anger was justified.

As I said at the beginning, you may be a great player in every other respect (Lecan seemed to think so), but the one time I encountered you, you blew it with the MPK attempt.

I believe in second chances, so I withdraw my earlier judgment. I'll raise you if you ever need it. Don't make me regret it.

2nd, me saying "simple-minded gaming nerd", I wasn't talking about you, I was tlaking about the one chick, mostly, who was being so mean to me that day for simple joking, and also by that I meen the ppl sho are crule because they are "Uber god'd of FFXI". Ppl who are mean to me because i am an "Eternal Newb". It's a game and I play it, I don't want ppl to be mean because I have fun rather than trying to be the best, but at the same time I am aware that those are ppl playing those chars and it hurts when they are mean, that's why I try not to be mean, but I got a bit fed up with being a pushover for a while and wrote all this stuff. I was a mistake though, I only got hurt more, I realy should have left it at apologising to you, lol.

nah, he's right. ppl are stupid in general and when they say "faggot" they either realy are talking shit about gay ppl directly or (more comonly) using it like the word "stupid" or "asshole"... odd how in the end they look like more of a stupid asshole i still dont understand why its an insult to call ppl that.
