Was wondering.

Seeing that the other Perdu Weapons seemed to follow in the footsteps of the previously created Blau Dolch/Maneater genre of weapons, I.E. 15 Attack, 5 Accuracy pre 100 TP. I was wondering if anyone was brave enough to blow 40,000 IS to find out of the bow does too, or if the bow only enhances Ranged Attack / Ranged Accuracy.

THink about it, having somethign in your Ranged slot that give you the effect of a maneater, that you can't accidently toss? It's liek a Bomb Core fucked a Fire Bomblet and had kids.

Anyone willing to risk it? I don't have the rank or I would.

Well that's what I was asssuming, but you never know with ranged weapons. I mean if it is soley Ranged benefits, then its a pretty craptatic bow, but if it happened to include Melee benefits, it would be the best ranged/ammo item ever created for the jobs that can use it.

I think you're right about this. The Perdu Sickle gives Atk+14 and possibly Acc+5 under 100TP.

Edit: Nevermind, you're asking if someone could check with the weapon. Would this be determined by /checking monsters to see if the Low Evasion / Low Defense message appears/changes?

No.

You put on the bow, and check to see if your attack increases 15 points in your equip menu while your TP is less than 100.

And the answer is no. someone on BG had the same thought as me and snagged the bow to test it. Its just a craptastic bow, no additional melee enhancements ; ;

Considering my Ranger is level 74, that's lametastic. =\

I'm under the assumption that Ranged Attack -does not- show up in the equip Attack rating.

If that is the case (which I'm nearly positive it is, aka level 20 staff gives me a base attack of 110) then these tests are still inconclusive.

He isn't wondering about ranged attack, he's wondering about regular att which would show up when equipped.

Ah, nevermind. I was looking at this topic in the wrong point of view from the beginning. You guys were hoping this bow would be like a potent fire bomblet, hence the analogy.
