Iso, why don't you start a poll? "SHOULD I HAVE BEEN BOOTED FROM INVICTUS?!" and then "IS PERE AN OBNOXIOUS PRICK?!" and of course the most important question, "DO I REALLY MAKE TOO MANY POLLS?!" kekekekekekekeke

Well 1) I wasn't booted so topic #1 would never be, 2) I think this thread satisfies the necroing of what many thing of Pere & 3) This one was alread yone by someone else.

You were up for booting consideration after you got pissed off and left Jeuno within the first 10 minutes.

Pardon my typos, one of the lesser, but more annoying supervisors began walking this way >_>

Which is funny since Mortechai you all had legit reasons for booting, but it took months. :coco:

Well from the rest of the thread, I can deduce he was the first. The first is always the hardest, because it sets the precidence for how all other situations should be handled. You being the 2nd, it wouldn't need to take as long.

Rikkuu was also kicked from the shell before him. Mainly for being rude to others. He also was a dragoon (no offense intended.) At the time when we held onto Mortechai it was for skill related reasons. He's a good tank and selector and we really needed that. We held him as long as we could but we were getting far too many complaints. The guy just has a piss-poor attitude.

Nice deflect.

What's there to deflect? It holds no water. He was AF2 greedy & disreguarded leadership's intervensions & what he was told on several occassions about starting drama during a run due to said greed. I on the other hand, because I was a voice of reason which Pere felt threatened by, get an instant discussion?
/twirls finger
I quit, won't be coming back, could care less if you'd want me back since at least 1/2 of leadership is holding Pere's hand for whatever personal reason, I know leadership won't want me coming back & as this thread continues more of leadership will eventually find something to say until all of Invictus leadership takes a disliking to me & I acknowledge this.
/twirls finger again.
I quit, is making that statement making you feel any better? I hope so.

There to many Pricks in this game

Dude, he would not have been able to make that joke (as bad as it was) if you hadn't brought up the fact you're in a wheelchair. This is the 3rd time I've seen you say that you are in a wheelchair.

I would be sympathetic, but every time you bring it up, you are fishing for sympathy or trying to make others feel bad about their actions. You make yourself a victim by doing this.

It reminds me of a friend I used to have named Sarah. Sarah's mother found out she had cancer when Sarah was in second grade. She finally died of cancer when Sarah was 19. Sarah will turn 23 on 5/3/06. Anytime I see her, she still talks about how her mom died. She sucks all the fun out of any possible good time because she is busy telling her sob stories trying to drum up sympathy. At first we (I'm referring to a group of about 5 friends I've had - including Sarah - since 5th grade) were sympathetic and understanding. When it continued (like after te first year), we tried to persuade her to seek help because she wasn't able to move on by herself. She never did. To listen to her talk about her mom now, you would think she lost her mom yesterday when it has been around 4 years. All it does is make you want to avoid her because she is incapable of having a good time, it is all a big pity party.

In reality, none of the FFXI community cares that you are in a wheelchair or what you are there for. Your personality is what makes friends, not a physical handicap. You aren't making a whole lot of friends by making yourself a victim.

I don't agree with using people if people's feelings aren't being considered (not talking about Mort but the shell's members).

I found this screenshot of a Dynamis run, I believe it is vital to this arguement.

Based on your first paragraph in the post just before this one, you no doubt understand that nothing actually needs to be said about either of these two, as they speak for themselves.

I just felt like commenting, from my experiences, that I think Zylia hit the nail on the head...Yet we see more of the same obligatory responses from Iso in the standard vein. Peregrine is a shit stain of a person, and his character doesn't deserve to even be discussed beyond that.

Hearing both sides of the argument, gonna have to go with Peregrine on this. Nothing to do weather or not its Peregrine, lotta people seem to think hes at fault simply b/c they do not like him. Me, I don't give a damn one way or another, talked to him a couple times about crafting and thats about it. Don't agree with his views on economics, but there are plenty of people whom I don't agree with on that an other subjects.

That being said, his stance of let the Paladins decide who the tanking order is, is a reasonable stance. Its delugating responsibility, but it HAS to be done since there is just so much going on. From the way it sounds Isotope was told numereus times to figure it out for herself, should have been bugging the other tanks. Seen this happen, in not just dynamisis, and not just ingame, but in real life. People just don't want to think for themselves, and follow a nice dotted line. Well, end of the day PLDs know best how/who to tank, they really need to decide between them.

Craps & lies are probably being said in the Invictus forums now that I'm locked out, but I could care less. I don't personally want to see Invictus fall, I'm actually hoping that besides Pere now having her dislike to me, that he has learned a valuable lesson & that he & the shell learn from his mistakes & betters itself. There are many in the shell that deserve greatness. Chances are Pere hasn't learned anything, but hopefully, if at least only for a few months or another year or 2 longer, the runs continue & deserving people get what they are after.

You don't at all think it should be left to 1 individual to remain organized & swift? I believe if leadership is too overburdened, Pere shoulda chose a tank to permanently step up as lead of PLD.

What's so wrong with following a dotted line? We all do it! I don't see PLD subbing NIN in exp parties, people of our server have set a standard of what is expected of you reguardless of how you'd like to play (a dotted line if you will), I don't see too many jobs soloing when they can't get a pt invite, the majority of people will all start lvling at lvl 10 in dunes as well...all examples of that invisible dotted line we all follow.
