I'm sure that most of you did not see this coming and I do apologize to all of the members new and old. I have spoken to the other leaders and this we all agreed that this is the best course of action. For the past ten months we have tried to bridge the cross linkshell conflicts that existed between rival linkshells. Yet, individuals could not keep their attitudes at the doors and perpetually pushed the rules with inappropriate comments in the linkshell. The amount of time required to plan Dynamis and the level of stress that I undertook as a leader only increased as the shell became more successful. There was never any way to make the majority of the LS happy without any member claiming favortism to one shell or the other.

Through the ten months of the shells existance, I have had nothing but destructive comments and perpetual negativity spawned by several members. These allegations built up and gained momentum causing several members to leave the shell. There was never any way to prove or disprove these allegations as they were never brought to light until recently. Since leadership could not intervene the animosity between several players continued to during runs. The general lack of respect for other members is absolutely remarkable. Regardless of what shell individuals came from, they were members of Perfect, and I asked for general respect for all members. This was completely disgarded and still remains discarded.

Even after we hit our main goal of defeating Dynamis Lord, I believed that the shell could work together but that view was quickly dismissed with the drama over the Shadow items. Greed, selfishness and disrespect had no limits. I honestly could not believe the type of attitudes that some of you had. This attitude became an infection that spread throughout the shell. Regardless of what zone we were in, leadership would be lambasted with complaints.

When I started this shell I started it to help the members obtain AF2 and to help those upgrading relic weapons obtain coins. I have never asked anything from the shell other than each member respect each other, leadership, and be responsible. The breakdown of respect at all levels has created an environment that is no longer fun. I have planned a lot of my real life events around dynamis so that I could help all of you. However, there are those in the shell with other agenda's and have worked against this shells' goals.

I had high hopes for the shell. During the conference I attended on Saturday, I was trying to plan our schedule for March and had some very promising events for the shell to part take. I had already made the necessary arrangments to take the shell to the new zones when I noticed this thread :

I don't know what to say. I can safely say that this thread killed any remaining enthusiasm that I had to do dynamis. This thread sums up the prevailing attitude that has killed leaderships enthusiasm to lead the shell any further.

We would like to thank everyone that has participated and helped the shell reach its peak. Without your dedication, this shell would not have gotten to where it has.

That's so sad. Deci, are you sure you should be posting that here? I don't mean that badly, I'm just wondering if the post needs to broadcasted, ya know?
 
Its news that would be posted in some form of Summary within a few hours anyways.

To many it wasn't suprising, but yes it is sad and I think it deserves to be publically known the thoughts and frustrations a leader of any end game LS goes through with all the complaints and stress related issues that is created.

If anything I posted this as a learning experience for others who are either currently running Dynamis LS's or are thinking of running any end game LS whatsoever. Try to learn from this and expect what is coming, better yet if you figure out a way to prevent the drama and have the foresight to plan every rule and policy to be custom catered to each outcome that your LS will encounter, let the public know and it will make the server a better place.

I would just like to say that Perfect was the most organized and skilled group of players I had the privledge of working with and it just showed each and every night we went into a city and dominated with utmost respect for the rules of the LS.

Candia and the other leaders did a great job for a long time with Perfect and that is to be commended as they gave most of us a chance that we otherwise would not have experienced.

I wasn't even there the night that we got the Mantle but I have to say that NIN is not a bad choice to recieve it.

The mistake was made in not having a system setup that all members could view and not question who would be in turn for shadow items. I'm not even sure if it was expected we would win on our first attempt let alone see a Shadow item drop.

And while Mantle may not be better for NIN over PLD there is definite reasoning for giving it to a NIN. Speaking as a NIN I don't see the use as much as others do but it is 1 more line of defense when tanking mobs that eat through shadows quickly, perform AOE's or have attacks which negate shadows altogether.

I don't believe ultimately that Shadow Mantle going to Hyre caused the LS's disbandment. As the issue was resolved quite quickly afterwards with a system put into place to properly resolve who would be lotting shadow items when they dropped.

Edit: Didn't Loveless give their first Shadow Mantle to a NIN as well?
 
Now I know there were a few leader absences recently and Ryme leaving FFXI, but I didnt expect this to happen ; ;

Was a pleasure running dynamis with all Perfect members, getting many AF2's and ultimately defeating Dynamis Xarcabard.

Was a good run, but all good things come to an end i guess :(
 
The mistake was to not take into account that people are greedy, nuff said.
 
Just a note: Doesn't the eventual disband that most linkshells will see make the idea of a tiered lotting system grossly unfair? To all those who ran with Valkyrs for months and couldn't lot on anything and were told to be patient they would eventually get it - then back to square 1 with nothing?

And as if we haven't discussed this before Fire, Perfect is not Valkyrs.

Congrats to all who got AF during the run of Perfect. It was nice teaming up with most of you~

Not at all trying to flame. When I flame, I flame. There's nothing wrong with what anyone did, because those were the rules when all the members joined. If they didn't like the system they didn't have to join >Perfect>. I'm just trying to understand the damage done by the LS disbanding.
 
I have to say, I know how Candia (or whoever wrote that post) feel <.<;

Either way, sad to see the shell disband =/

Summary: People bitching about a cancled run and making some accusations.
 
Couldn't of asked for anything else with such a great group of skilled players. I apologize it had to end this way, but the respect was just thrown at the window. Nobody was ever happy to see anyone receive a piece of AF2 without Candia or I getting the third degree about it from a few members. I wish everyone a farewell and it was a pleasure getting to know you all.
 
Perfect was an amazing shell - I was proud to be a part of it, and so glad of the teamwork and skill that I saw there every Tuesday and Saturday evening.

I'm really sorry to see it end, especially this way - and with so many people having worked so hard to keep it running.

Candia, Hyre, (the belated Ryme), Mariox, Voltorb, Rhad, Tyrath, Sumer, and so many others - I cannot start to list you all here - thank you for the privilege of working with you these past months. I hope I can be a part of your future adventures!

i ran with perfect for a couple weeks, it seemed like a good shell... times began to conflict too much for me to stay on board. that sucks that they had to kill it, i had heard decent things about it.

so how did hyre obtain it? i understand alot of valkyrs was in the group, but was it just by chance of a lot or what?
