Enormous effort and planning went into it, and it finally happened today. Absolute Virtue defeated by Perseverance, congratulations to everyone who participated! A great day for the Linkshell, I think everyone will agree! :D

Video to follow shortly!

Congrats, awesome job :p

Grats! It's fun to bring him down, after all the years of fruitless rage. ^^

Congratulations guys and gals! Very proud of you for doing what we only thought a couple of years ago would have been impossible. Grats on the awesome drops too^^

Not to belittle their feat ('cause it is a good one), but that was also the time before level cap increased :p A pickup party of AH noobs could kill Nidhogg with ease nowadays. What was once on the verge to impossible can now be done more easily.

Curious how you guys went about it. Did you try the 2-hr lock, zerg, some 3rd option, or a combination of all the above? Video is where?

And of course way to go!

The easy way to do it these days is to break its regen, then wipe on purpose. Sac pull while reassembling, then hit it with a zerg, six BRD songs & two COR rolls, drop the BRDs for SMNs once their songs are finished and have them pop Perfect Defense just before the fight starts. Keep the CORs in for Wild Card if things go a bit off, but chances are you won't need it. Pretty straightforward kill if you do it right, minimal mess, and fairly quick.

Regardless of how much ease there is to it now days it's still a pain in the ass to set up and not many shells originally from the server surrounded in End Game really have the people now days to put that kind of effort together. To see 30 of my members put it together and make it happen is kind of a trophy for me lol. I for one am very proud of them they did a great job and more to follow I hope.

Congrats to Perseverance for this kill, way to go guys :D

It was exciting watching JoL and AV die that day, never saw either nm before, so i enjoyed watching the fights. congrats to everyone on the win and drops :)

Was a fun fight I have to say, and with an amazing LS at that. It's great working with you all, Perc :D
