Well, I don't see one anywhere, so I figured I'd start one up. Post guns you own or would like to own.

So Friday I finalized the process of purchasing a handgun. $970 and an 8 day wait and I came home from work(I work at a gun shop, so HEH, convenient) with this:

(Comes with three magazines, one removed because I'm working on breaking in the spring a bit atm.)

Took it to the range already and boy do I love it. Accurate as hell even at 50 yards using the factory sights.

I don't like guns and they scare the hell out of me, but I believe people have the right to own one. Strict Canadian laws here though...

currently dont own a gun, but grew up shooting them. always been a good shot =)

plan on getting my license soon

but my uncles a total gun nut, he has a hidden door in the back of his closet leading to his gun room lol

9 mm Sig Sauer, .38 Smith & Wesson and my favorite... a Mossberg 500 shotgun.

I own an early 1900s model pump shotgun. I want either a 9mm Ruger or a Model 1911 Colt .45...

Jeebus that's nice. I'd love to own a Five-SeveN.

i just got my IL FOID card and i will be purchasing a Glock 22 gen 4 very shortly. it fits my hand well, i love the weight and i love how it shoots. just awesome. I heartz Glock. i recently also messed around with the 1991 version for the 1911 from SA and its like 5x the weight of a Glock but the .45 cal power...... mmm tasty.

It's really great. In a few months, gonna look in to buying it's big brother. Probably gonna try for it in July. Only problem is Maryland law doesn't allow magazines larger than 20 round capacity to be sold in state, even though they're not illegal to own here. So I'll probably have to settle for the 10 round package and take a trip to Virginia some day.

We've had some Gen 4 Glocks on order at work for a while and none have come in yet, so I haven't handled one yet. Same with the Springfield XD 3.8s, actually.

I still don't particularly trust myself to own a functioning firearm, for a few reasons, but I do have one that's... semi-functional.

A Winchester 1887 lever-action 10-gauge. I say semi-functional because we don't actually know if it's an 1887 or a 1901, and the latter might be able to fire a light modern load, while the 1887s are all pretty much damascus barrels, and those tend to blow the fuck up with a modern round. The 1901s had a proper barrel, but it's more of a family heirloom anyway, so I generally don't worry about whether or not I can take it out to the range.

I've never owned or shot a gun, and don't have great interest in owning one, but if I was going to, it'd be a Walther PPK with a silencer. I won't be doing so, because a pistol permit is hassle enough, and the permit to have a silencer put on it is even worse. I also like Thompson submachine guns, with the large round clips that got the nickname Chicago Typewriters, but it's not legal to own automatic weapons either. Thus, I'll probably just remain gunless.
