Former PSO addict reporting in... unfortunately I played the DC version to death along with episode 2 on GC... ep4 better be some quality shit, or else I cant see myself playing past 2-3 months...

Love the server uptime eh :roll:
 
I used to play PSO before, ffxi. - .- it's ok... i guess
 
Does anyone know if there are any screenshots for this game? It would be nice to see what I might play before downloading a ton of info if I'm just going to end up deleting it.
 
Just got look up Phantasy Star Online, looks pretty much the same...I just figured out how to make my character walk this morning....I suxx at teh computerz!

heh yeah, no joke. Last night after I got home from work, I guess the servers were down, so I waited til this morning to try it out. I finally get into the game, make a new character, and chose a ship. So now I'm standing there with a few other people, and figure I'll open up my menu and have a look around. Best I can do is manage to walk around, and can't even figure out how to log, and that's after beating on every key on the keyboard. Forget opening the menu, I can't even talk; and I eventually just alt-tab'd to log out haha
 
Episode 1 + 2 got old real fast bud... first on dreamcast and then it become kind of new again on gamecube but now on pc...... no thanks, I don't want to go through caves for the 5000000000000000 time.

However, PSU (Phantasy Star Universe) will be kickass, to say the least. Also, I heard PSO: BB was supposed to have a completly new story with the -addition- of the "classic" episodes 1 & 2.

SHUSH!!! I still Play PSO on a regular basis! I never get sick of smoking good ol' darky at the end of Episode 1 or getting my ass fed to me by Olga at the end of episode 2. I don't know why but I absolutely adore PSO.

Played Version 1 online on the dreamcast until it wasn't free anymore and then I picked up the one for the gamecube and then I bought Episode 1 & 2+ for the gamecube and just had a good ol' time on saturday going through the Challenge mode.

<3 PSO...It was the first online game I ever played

Honestly I liked Episode 3 the best :wink:

And yes, they are both great, but I wish they would add -true- content. The caves level finally drove me insane, people think leveling in most MMORPG's is drone work, trying reaching the highest levels in PSO -_-

I have high hopes for PSU, which is a true MMORPG, or so they say anyways.
 
Wouldn't know what the high levels are like...damn game has made me start over 3 times now. Once getting a force to level 80-something on the DC one, then again getting a force to level 97 on the GC one...then a memory card wipe and now I'm starting all over again on the GC version again. I'm like an abused wife, I just keep going back for more.

PS: 4 times now, just started a new one on the beta this morning, now if I could get her to move/fight/talk I'd be set.! :D

Don't feel bad, It's happened to everyone probably. I must of had corrupted data on my gamecube like 40000 times, thanks to my retarded friends.
