not just our server, but... for some of those pictures that were taken or look like they were taken professionally... do any of you believe that they are who they say they are? 'cause i know those that meet ppl online and exchange pictures or whatever and they meet in person... isn't whom you think they thought they were. i dunno... i was just browsing that sight just a few minutes ago and thought to myself "is that REALLY you?" and not to sound "sexiest" but it's mostly the female pictures that i'm pointing towards to.

It's not that I'm afraid to do so, it's just that:

1. I never got around to it. and 2. Never thought it'd make much of a difference.

LOL - yes that is me....If the opinion of what other gamers thought of my looks was important enough to LIE about my appearance, I would have picked a much hotter lady to take on my identity. The purpose of that site is to let the friends that you made put a face on you, it isn't supposed to be a beauty contest. But yes, some girls do seem to take it that way.

I don't understand why it is so hard for people to believe that cute girls might just like to game sometimes. /sigh

It is freaking 2004. *We (women) sometimes have interests other than "shopping" :roll: /rant off

I have been trying for 6 months now to put the Ps2 controller in her hand and give FFXI a try, still no success.

She does'nt mind me playing, but everytime I do, I get the most feared "Girlfriend frown"!

LOL - I know that frown ;) I hated games when I first started dating my BF too - but he started introducing ones that I liked (The SIMS, Mario Party, etc) and since I am an actress, the RP games were REALLY fun to me....being a character and whatnot is like playing a role. :) I am sure your chica will come around....just try to get her to play ones that girls like to start her off, then hammer her with the good stuff. ;)
 
My friend Jesone is a bodybuilder and plays this game everyday..

Hes currently farming for his snipers valkrie mask etc.

Hes a 45drk atm.

I probably wont be able to get a pic of him though :/
 
I dunno..I've ALWAYS loved vide games/comic books/cars/BATMAN! (he gets his own category 8) ).. Probably why I have more guy friends than girls...I have a picture from when I was like 4-5 wearing a mario shirt...hmm let me see if I can find it...YEP!

I'll just post the link so you don't have to look at my mini mug when you load up the topic :D

Actually, Sims might be a good one to try! Think I'll rent it for the week-end, when she gets back from her parents. Yes, she has been away all week, so I played like crazy!!! lol Did'nt do shit around the house, I am in so much trouble! lol

I loved old school NES when I was little too ;) When that Fred SAvage movie "THE WIZARD" came out - and they showed scenes from the ever-awaited Mario 3 - I almost wet myself. :) /sigh good times
