Pictures turn up too dark

[Acks]

So here's the problem: basically, whenever I take pics or videos using fraps or the built in ffxi screenshot function the pictures and videos turn out darker than how I'm playing it. Any suggestions?

i bough fraps and started using the fraps2 and the picture difference is massive @_@
if you can, just use teh frasp2 demo for pics

well, i dont use fraps, so i have no suggestions there.
as for the SE screenscho function, i too have pics saved that are far far darker than in game, but there a rather easy and fast fix for it.
i simply opened the dark shot in either photoshop or photocanvas (part of ACDsee) and hit the auto-adjust color levels button. problem solved. ^^
