Of course I agree with you on there is no skill involved in MMO's, lol. What's the problem here? I was actually talking to Dragon "talking shit" to you about how much more uber he is than you, not talking about you. You, I don't have a problem with.
About the "not needing the most expensive gear" thing, I had an argument with our favorite flameboard prima-donna Vang about "econimcal gear options" for the Ranger who isn't uber rich, with him getting outright insulted that me, a BLM, would have anything to say about a ranger because "you've never played it", even though crunching numbers really isn't that difficult. Gear's nice and all, but sometimes the millions upon millions of gil needed to upgrade a stat by one or two points just isn't worth it for those of us who have time to spend on things outside of the game.
Example: If I had a choice of crafting for 5 straight hours to be able to afford a item that gave me +4 strength, or I could spend two to ten times to be able to afford a +5 version with a white border, I'd take the +4 every time.
Time is important to some people, Dragon, and putting someone down because they don't have all +1 gear is pretty fucking silly, go get a breath of fresh air. Xean obviously puts up respectable #'s with the gear setup he uses, so what's the deal? If he puts up good #'s and isn't a pain to group with (pain = bossy people, arrogant, /say macros, serious AFK issues), then I'd invite him every time over someone bringing an arrogant attitude like the one you displayed in your initial response. (Note, talking to Dragon, not you, Xean, so you don't get messed up again

)
People really do this? LOL It hasn't hit my town yet, thankfully.
