and yes, we have mnks in the ls that do around 1500 on chiblast. but your going off on another subject...were talking aboutmobs in dynamis that last 10 seconds...not a god that lasts about an hour(depending on the god of course)
 
I'd just like to point out to whoever it was that said signups are retarded (sorry I don't recall who it was, this thread is suddenly 5 pages long and I'm not scrolling back) that i agree with you 110%. I've been pushing for a set roster for 3+ weeks now, but my officers disagree with cutting some people to maintain order. I'm not an evil dictator so I take their opinions to heart.

Unfortunately due to the popularity of our new (not so much anymore) dynamis LS its been hard to say no to some close friends. My officer staff has been struggling with this for a few weeks now. :P

I work with what I have /shrug

Anyways, bring on the flames! Your momma jokes? Whatever other crap you ginormous e-cock monkeys talk about on these flameboards.

I'm not going to argue that, but that's not the problem here. This was our first run at Dynamis - Windurst that he was subbing THF, we wern't farming, we were going for the win, which we did not get. And as you said, "Having everyone sub thf DOES affect the drop rates," which is not the case here, it's one or two people with THF sub.

In the line of that TH is supposedly (according to some at least) party based, IE only if the person with the killing blow has a THF in their party (or maybe allaince there is a deal of questioning here I like to think PT) will TH get calculated into the drops.

But yea... How the hell can you miss signups? How is it everyone but you was able to sign up? Especialy big things like dynamisis, logic would dictate that there needs to be some kind of roster? What you think it was some kind of free for all?

Tell your officers to quit being dumb asses, set roster is the way to go if you have that many ppl. Otherwise you never know what you will have from week to week, and dynamis LS are a team. How can you be a successful team if you change the players every week?

Its not so much that we're changing members so much as rotating some in and out based on who can show up on a given week. I've made the same arguments to my officers...we just agreed it isn't going to be fun telling some of our friends that they have to go.

Again I agree with you and I have in fact made up a set roster that has not yet been put into action. Bruce is not on it from when i made it two weeks ago. Funny coincidence no?

Dire, i don't pay much attention to who subs THF and how much it effects drops. we win every run regardless if everyone subs THF or not... and we get lucky with whatever how many AF2's drop with DD's subbing THF or not... but the way we've been doing it is... if you're not a tank or mage, you sub THF just for the additional effect and prayer that AF2 will drop more.

all that mathematical and philosophical mumbo jumbo and percetanges if a THF is present in an alliance or whatever will have the effect of TH...

i don't know bro... i just... don't... know. sorry^^
 
Oh, but we can't lock the thread yet, there's so much more derailment to be done... Maybe we'll be talking about breathmints by the time FFXI comes back up.
