My vaan is level 50 and the other 2 characters are 49. Whats a good place to level up at? I just been the Pharos tower, and I'm presuming thats where I level up at..however is there any other place I can go to? I don't feel like walking up a huge tower and walking all the way down D:

I'm around that same level, and though I haven't heard of (nor interweb searched for) a so called "best leveling spot in teh game" I've been having a good run in the Cerobi Steppe (sp?). Plus I make a whole lot of cash off the drops there. Quality Pelts/Hides from the Bandercourels and Silver Lobos and the Ring Wyrm Scales from the Shield Wyrms both sell pretty well.

I'd also have to recommend the hidden spot in the Nabreaus Deadlands where the Roblon mark was. I chained a good 100+ dead bones there without breaking a sweat. Just kill everything in the area Roblon was in, go back out to the area before him and kill everything there, hit the bathroom, and repeat. ^^

Hope that helps out a bit.

Edit: I should mention that I'm in no hurry to beat the game, so Pharos Tower may be tons better. Haven't been there yet. Don't even know where it is nor when you get to it in the storyline.

I haven't played in a while, but at that level... there's a spot near a hunt called "Roblon," in the Nabreus Marsh(I think it's called...) That spawns about 50 skeletons, then you can zone back two zones, come back, and kill the skeles again, it's real good exp...

How about a spot for lvling in the low 40s? -.- Pharos is too tough atm, I mean I can beat the things sure, but I get wasted after 3 or 4 of em, especially when the bombs explode or the horses use their -ga spells.

Place I went to to level in the 40s is Golmore jungle. Theres a spot furthest south where coreuls and hellhounds rome. If you clear the whole area out, skeletons start spawing. You can get up to about chain 90ish before having to zone and come back. But once you zone you'll have to clear the area again. Theres also a rare game there too that spawns overtime. Use a phonix down on him and he's done unless you want to fight it. But yeah I leveled really nicely doing that. Goes better when you have the x2 exp accessory on.

For Lv. 40's, you can lvl up in Golomore Jungle, Tchita Uplands, Sochen Palace, and Stillshrine of Miriam and The Feywood

For Lv. 50's, you can lvl up in Nabreus Marshes, Cerobi Steppe, POSSIBLY Tchita Uplands if you have embroidered tippets, Pharos, The Great Crystal (Even though there are very few spawns), and Giruvegan.

If its after the tower, you're prabably ready. Theres a level BELOW the tower. You can only access that. But you have to have gone through the events in the tower to access it. The mobs start at level 58, and they keep coming at you, so be prepared. Its good exp, but shit for drops. Stay at the elevator becasue at level 60, I needed to head back up after 10 mobs flying at you.

Well I went to that deadlands place and I went into that old building..where those stupid goblins have like hi evasion or something cause I can never hit them...and they always gang up on me and whoop my ass >_> I'm level 52 too lol and they are 48 D:

Whats down there besides that spear? an esper? Cause theres mist all over the place

Zodiac Spear is there and I believe the esper Chaos is there too. Not sure of anything else. Its a nice place for exp, but I thought the mobs pounded on me a bit too much for it to be worthwhile at that level.

I'd stick with the skellies in Nabreus until the 60's. Then finish up the Pharos if you haven't already done so (you could do that at your current 50 without trouble actually), go around nabbing the easier Espers to unlock the deeper part of Henne Mines, and then play with bats there.

There's one room where you can hit a switch and have a big swarm of bats come to beat you up, worth 3000-ish each *before* Embroidered Tippet. Have one person on Sleepga duty and the other two spam Curaja on the bats, and wear shields and measures (or that big evasion dagger, forget its name) so you block most of their attacks before they go to sleep.

And then after killing off that swarm of enemies and netting about 80,000 experience in a few minutes, you head to the right and then up and come back (real quick to zone twice), hit the switch again, and repeat.

Took all of one afternoon to get all six characters to 99, and it slows way down in the 80's and especially the 90's. You can, of course, stop earlier if you want to retain *some* challenge to the game. :P

It's good exp. if you have well-organized gambits and are ready to take a beating every few fights. And the Chaos Esper is down there, that is after you finish the pre-requisites, Zodiac Spear, and a few other rare items.

Yeah that place is pretty tough. I've been through there at level 50-52 and I still got rocked pretty good. Not too bad when fighting one or two mobs but when they pile up on you in large numbers, it gets ugly.

Blizzaga is your friend against those things. i have penelo set to attack with magic only and they drop like flies.

I really love fighting the Shield Wyrms in Cerobi Steppe..they give like 3000 exp :D, plus good drops from the courels and hyeanas.

i went level 56 to 70 in the buttom of the crystal near where the Ultima esper is, killing the undead just by using curaja lol. almost a 1 hit kill to them
they pop out fast so exp will be fast down there

If you want to be cheap, go to negalmuur, set your gambits up to only attack the undead he spawns, and then leave your ps2 alone.

I despise the battle system of ffxii, so that's what I did for many, many levels.

Yeah I saw something about that on gamefaqs. They go in depth with how to set up the gambits to pull that off effectively.
