I've been waiting on this since i first caught wind of it a month or two back.

What?

I like documentaries. If it's not cartoons it's science/history/discovery channel or bust.

Sadly i lack HD so i may have the grandfolks tivo it for me so i can rock it out on the 50" plasma.

Yeah..I lack HD too xD BUt oh well i really want to see this and can't wait til tomorrow night :) I really liked scenes with the great white shark, the whale's diving, and the seal pack swimming..I just thought it was all so cool hehe
 
Yea I'm extremely lookin forward to this, the previews of it have got me excited, and I'm a big nature fan and documentaries about it.
 
I <3 the discovery channels and all the channels like it. Survivorman, Mythbusters, so much awesome :D
 
Our TV is usually set at the Discovery Channel, The History Channel, Animal Planet, or Discovery Times Channel.

I've been catching bits & pieces of the show all day. Very good stuff. This show would look AMAZING on an big HDTV.
 
It's incredible <3 I hope they show it more so I can really get to learn all this for sure (as in actually remember it) when I'm not sleepy.
 
It's fuckin sweet, I'm watching the repeat right now, last 5 mins of "Deep Ocean", 6 hrs of this is pure win.
Can't wait for next Sunday's 2 hours of this.
 
I have to say this is probably the best documentary I've ever seen. I didn't watch much of the "Mountains" Episode too much cause I wasn't that interested..but some of the mountains they showed were just beautiful. I LOVED the ocean deep episode, I was totally amazed by the Vampire Squid (or octopus i don't remember) from Hell. When he did that defense mechanism..it was so cool.

Oh and the Blue Bird of Paradise was just SWEET!!! He took so much time to clean up his dancefloor (xD) and did his mating dance with the female bird..I was just totally amazed by it.

here's the video of the blue bird..it's in a different language though, it's in russian i believe. I think it's so neat that the bird starts scraping off stuff on his branch, and his lil balerina (sp?) dance was so cool..and definetly that other thing..I can't explain it but ya lol.

My favorite section was the mountains. The snow leapord....I think it was, was badass - the chase that was caught on film for the first time, that motherfucker can run down a mountain. The big herd of carribu was pretty amazing too, and then the wolf that hunts that baby down, awesome. I was amazed at the size of those herds too. Then those hunting dogs in Africa that chase down the deer-whatevers were cool....what else was cool....oh fuck the great white sharks, that was incredible footage. I've never really given a shit about sharks before but that one is badass in my book. Those high speed cameras rule. Ohhh and the eagle that takes down that whatever bird, and they're fighting and falling forever, that was cool as hell too. Yeah, I agree, best documentary I've ever seen, I can't wait till this Sunday. However cool it was to you all it was twice as cool for me. Ever seen Planet Earth on weed?

Let's see how many people get that movie reference.

Are you talkng about the chase (in the mountains) at the very end? I thought that was really cool, I was surprised that they didn't fall off trying to chase each other. Same witht he monkeys at the begining, when the wolves, or some other animal came to eat them, they all ran away so fast down the mountain I was just thinking they were all going to fall to their doom.

As for watching Planet Earth while on weed..uh no lol
