Plans for Halloween?

Do you guys know if SE is planning on doing anything special for Halloween with FFXI? Any suggestions could also be fun!

How about being able to disguise yourself as a monter and run around town! You could quest your costume! Think I'm gonna disguise myself as Leaping Lizzie and go walk around in South Gustaberg! :lol:
 
As long as the music is better than the Summerfest music. ><
 
I avoided going to town. The music coupled with all the /sh Looking for a female Hume/Elvaan/Taru/Mithra. =P
 
Granted the Shouts were bad. But what was so Bad about the Music ? I mean C'Mon, there were Fireworks, pretty People and new Music ...
 
Maybe there will be more Fireworks and Music ? I kinda like the Monster Dressup Idea. I'd be a Mandragora, or maybe a Crab.
 
I'd dress up like a GM.
 
if only i could get rid of my subjob and get my "?" back. i'd run around jueno asking people for help with my RSE. or make my way to norg and act like "i stepped out of my mog house in bastok and just found myself here! HELP?!". best would be to run around with the "?" and ask people if they can help me get BACK to the Hall of the Gods. i'll even go /anon so people can't check me. but i'll still have the "?". i'll try and get a party of lvl 70+ people to go for a skill up party or such.

maybe i'll do that anyway.... i'll make a new char and see what kind of weird places i can get to.... take lots of screenies of me in weird places.

I have fond memories of last Halloween, running around Windurst marveling at the sights and thinking that all the ghosts flying about was some kind of monster invasion of the city.

The Japanese had their pumpkin hats on and were handing out candy and fireworks, it was a great time.
 
I remember the Halloween evet too, ahh, the noob days, not knowing how to trade to NPC's and such, LOL. I got myself a pumpkin hat, but no wand. I really want my hands on one, hopefully they bring it back this year. 8)
 
I just thought of something.

It would be neat if SE had moogles out and for your treat is like a cool equiption. Then for your trick, you get turned into a different race(without stats changing) I would love to run around as Taru :o

YES, they always do events for everything pretty much, i jus hope they give cool stuff out this time, like they did for the japanese last year, I STILL WANT A PUMPKIN HEAD!!

:roll: but anyways, theres no doubt that they'll do something
 
My thoughts for Halloween is, yes, they'll probably do it. Main reason for this is, since the release of Chains of Promathia and the European release of the game, there haven't been any events. I'm sure that they'd want to do some kind of event for the new players from Europe to show that the game changes sometimes.

As for halloween, I'm really wondering if they'll repeat the same event they had last year. It'd be neat if they had trick or treat moogles that gave you different 'treats' based on the equipment you wore as that is 'dressing' up in a sense. (Subligar and a headband....I'd say a crown, but that's too bloody hard to get..haha.) I'm really wondering what they'll do. Fireworks is probably going to show up though....
 
I want a Combat hat or maybe a Skull T-shirt. I just love halloween, some spooooooooky music would be cool beans! They had better do an event or I'll be major pissed off! This is the only holiday worth celebrating!!!! :twisted:
 
Ah.. yeah. They're definately going to have an event. What it will be this time, i dont know. Probably the same as last year, except with different prizes.

Man.. I wish I hadn't been such a noob then. I would have had a pumpkin hat or bat staff, but I didnt know how to trade to npc's either. I wasn't even sure what I was suppose to trade to them. I remember someone telling me there were cookies and stuff so I went looking for food items and couldn't find anything but what was at the food shop in Sandoria.

/sigh ... Kept /shouting for help. But there were no english responces.. just japanese gibberish.

Anywho.. yeah, im pretty sure they're gonna have something again this Halloween season.
