Playonline down?

Yeah, actually. My friend got a japanese error message in red, then a bit later I was logging off to get something from my mule, and got R0 in the middle of logout. Got booted, and now I can't connect to POL at all...

Hey that's what happened to me, lost fullscreen then couldn't get back in.

i had EXACTLY this happen to me ; ;

edit: note the damn thing can't even decide what POL error to give me.. did you know there were 4 errors saying the exact same thing?

That's because SE doesn't want to tell us what the actual problem is... Anyway, it's either that or Windows-esque Blue Screen of Death, which gives a bunch of random numbers saying error in section xxx of cluster yyy.

The part I like the best about when POL decides to take a crap and not let anyone is is FFXI mainsites info about the issue.
Or rather the lack thereof.

I find it rather hilarious that the order of information goes:

POL breaks -> No one can log in to POL or FF -> SE does whatever it is they need to fix the issue -> FFXI mainsite is updated with a message that says what the problem WAS and to let us know that everythings ok now.

The really ironic part about that less than useful information passing is that we are usually the first to know theres a problem, and no more than 5 minutes behind the fix in knowing its finished.

lol, i was switching from my other char because me and my friend were gonna do G3, but i guess i should just leave it on forever so i don't get booted x.x
