Well i'm not having trouble but i'm pretty sure i know what you have to do. ..
I just recently changed CCards and forgot to reregister the new one w/ POL, so they dropped me for a day. Once i update the billing info, they asked me to register an ID also.
It's located under your navigator under Content ID, it doesn't cost anything and once i clicked it, it just gave me my prev ID back and i had to assign it to a handle. Also it made me do this for my mule too, I hope this helps
*EDIT* Wait now that i think of it thats for a Content ID, i think your POL ID is what you log in for your billing info and also what you use if you were to pull your friends list from the POL site.
The format for the # is TBDQ7833 << example
