PS3 PlayStation Network game releases

I don't get it. Ps1 emulators don't require an even half decent PC. You could be playing these right now rather than waiting for Sony to release them.

I could be playing it right now on my PSP using the disc in my PS3 and Remote Play, but that's not how I want to do it.

playing em out and about is better :) playing other games on my PC is what it's for.

Oh, you can put them on your psp? Didn't even know that lol.

Yep, I've had FFVII-IX, Suikoden, Wild ARMs 2, etc. on my PSP and currently rocking out with Xenogears.
Now after Vagrant Story all I need is Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, and Suikoden 2.

That is indeed a good list of games ;D

Can't believe Vagrant Story is only 97MB. Figured I'd have to delete something to make room in the Go's internal memory.

Wow, maybe I'll have room on my memory stick.
I need to get a bigger one soon anyways... just got my tax return.
Hmm

Pixeljunk Shooter 2 is pretty neat.
Also Extra Challenge 1 in MvC3, time to get my ass raped.

Parasite Eve on PSN tomorrow, likely to attract more buyers for The 3rd Birthday which releases March 29th.

I just bought The Legend of Heroes, but I can't download it to my PSP go because after this latest firmware update, my Go will no longer connect to PSN (says it timed out) uggh.

Ouch, I have the premium edition of the UMD version (love the extras), and the game is fucking awesome, sucks your Go isn't connecting.
It really is an excellent title, and the second chapter (2 UMD's) and the third releasing here depends on sales of the first. XSEED is committed to getting both out, even when the NGP releases, and the second likely won't be on PSN since there's an issue with 2 UMD's, and it's not on PSN in Japan.

which legend of heroes is out? O.o I remember playing one when the PSP first came out, was nothing special, not bad. I think there have been others in between, wonder what's been going on with the story.

Well, the Gagharv (sp) trilogy was translated by Namco-Bandai, and I think they were the ones who handled the porting from PC to PSP, not Falcom, and it is pretty much shit.

Trails in the Sky is the newest one, start of a new trilogy, localized by XSEED, ported directly to PSP by Falcom, and is a fucking awesome RPG, nothing like the first trilogy, and it's a completely different story, nothing to do with it.
You could start with the TiTS trilogy and be fine.

The Legend of Heroes has been around since 1989, but each series is different and no story ties.

Series 1: Iseruhasa (Dragon Slayer)

(1989) Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes
(1992) Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes II

[edit] Series 2: Gagharv Trilogy

(1994) The Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch
(1996) The Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion
(1999) The Legend of Heroes III: Song of the Ocean

[edit] Series 3: Trails in the Sky

(2004) The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

(2006) The Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki Second Chapter (SC)
(2007) The Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki The 3rd

[edit] Series 4: Zero no Kiseki

A direct sequel to the Sora no Kiseki series. While it has "The Legend of Heroes" in its title, it does not have a series number. A sequel, Ao no Kiseki, was announced on March 22, 2011.[1]

(2010) The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki
(2011) The Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki

[edit] Related games

(2010) Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki: Alternative Saga

The Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion is the one I played on the PSP, I think it was a remake.

I'm so confused what's going on in the story over all O.o not in that one game, mind you, I mean the entire series.

The new one that just came out redone by Xseed is virtually completely new. It's great so far! Best old school type JRPG ive played since FFIX.

Yeah, they're all self contained stories in each series.
I'd suggest starting with Trails in the Sky, and just keep getting each new one whenever XSEED releases them.

That's kinda annoying cause A Tear of Vermilion hinted at more >.>
