PS3 PlayStation Network game releases

When I was downloading ad hoc from the jp playstation store, I noticed there is a crap load of ps1 games on there market place. Hopefully they will be bring more and more out.

Bloody Roar and Um Jammer Lammey? Fuck yeah!

*ding*ding*ding*ding*ding* We have a winner! A solid slate of releases this week. I'm stoked because Silent Hill lands this week.

PS3 Content
TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled - $9.99 / (demo)
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain PS1 - $5.99
Silent Hill - PS1 $5.99
Syphon Filter 2 - PS1 $5.99
Katamari Forever demo
Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes demo

PSP Content
wipEout PULSE ($22.99)
Wild Arms XF ($29.99)
Half-Minute Hero Demo

Ah, the PS1 classic Final Fantasy Tactics arrives on the PSN store this week. That would normally be a complete no-brainer purchase, but it's hard to get excited about it when I already own War of the Lions (which needs its own downloadable version).

PS3 Content
Interpol: The Trail Of Dr. Chaos - $9.99
Switchball - $9.99
Final Fantasy Tactics - PS1 $9.99
Tomb Raider III - $5.99
FIFA Soccer 10 (Demo)
NBA LIVE 10 (Demo)

PSP Content
State Shift - $9.99

PSN will be getting the Lost Planet 2 demo next week. It'll have two demo missions, as opposed to the one the 360 demo had.
I played the 360 demo and was impressed, so I'll be checking out the PSN one next week.

Is it wrong that I bought the PSN FFT when I own the UMD version too? o.o

I did it too so, no, it's not wrong.

I don't know if that's comforting or not...

When are they gonna release FF9 on PSN so I can put it on my PSP? :(

It's not wrong. I'm tempted, but I'm going to hold out for the War of the Lions version. Plus I've been playing FFTA2 on the DS almost non-stop for the past week or two, which boosts my strength to resist the purchase.

I've heard that WotL has some lag issues.
Also, there's something sentimental about playing the game with all those localization errors in it.

I've had no problems with WoTL :P I <3 it so. They also improved the spelling/grammar problems which I'm sure aren't fixed on the PSN version of the PS1 version cause they just port, not edit for any issues. Like FF7 still has the W-Item Glitch and (more importantly) the MDEF glitch (where it's on armor but is never used to help reduce magic damage so basically ya..)

arghhh they put FF tactics on psn when there is already a psp game on it but not FF 8 or 9 even?! wtf playstation

I broke down and bought Tactics after all. I couldn't resist. If they ever get around to putting War of the Lions on there as a download, I'll get it; hopefully whatever trade-in/credit system Sony is developing for UMD owners with a PSP Go will allow me to get it for free.

I'm with you, Tok. I'm drooling for FF8 and FF9.

Final Fantasy 9 please. I'm dying to play that game but at the same time I'm not feeling sitting down for a 50 hour + RPG.

With tomorrow's release of the PSP Go, the good folks at NIS are making their games available on PSN tomorrow, priced at 50% off for the next week. According to 1Up.com:

For one week, you'll be able to buy the following games for between $4.99 and $9.99: "Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?"; "Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light"; "Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness"; "Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This?"; "Dragoneer's Aria"; and "Mana Khemia: Student Alliance."

I already own Disgaea on UMD, but I'd have no problem buying a downloadable version for $10.

Wow. This is a PSN flood for the PSP Go launch. No War of the Lions on the list, but still... impressive. The pics of the LittleBigPlanet Watchmen costumes are adorable. Via Joystiq:
