PS3 PlayStation Network game releases

Looking forward to trying the AvP demo later, although I'm sure most of the focus will be on Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I thought we were supposed to be getting the Fire Team Bravo 3 demo this week for PSP. /sigh

I don't know how long it'll be going on for, but fl0w is completely free right now.
As for the Heavy Rain demo: I tried it. Didn't really like the controls, and I was fumbling with them all throughout the demo.

I didn't think I was going to like Heavy Rain, my first few minutes confirmed it, with the strange controls. Once I got used to it, I found the plot and atmosphere pushed me forward, and I got used to the controls as a result. I want to play this game now.

Heavy Rain's controls threw me off until I got into the fight in the woman's apartment. That sorta sold me on it and I realized I needed to buy that game ASAP. lol

Speaking of games I need to buy, Fire Team Bravo 3 this week on PSN. Yay.

Darksiders demo? Damnit, I just rented it.
Well, it's not bad. But it's not fantastic. However, I do enjoy it more than I did Spirit Tracks, and... that's saying something.
Slightly interested in Grandia, though. Anyone play it before that can give me an idea of if it's good or not?

Grandia!? Are you kidding? It's a Ps1 classic IMO and I do believe that is a popular opinion. It had to follow FFVIII only 3 weeks after release and still held up very well.

I'd love to play all these old games but once I sit down with any of them for a little bit it feels to immature for me almost. I hope that's not me growing old or not being able to appreciate last gen games anymore due to our generation hype of technology.

I banked on the Saturn and the Dreamcast. That about sums up why I'm not very knowledgeable on PS1-era and early PS2 games.

Sweetness and light, the PSP remake of Lunar is on PSN this week for download. I still have my save file from the demo so I can unlock whatever item they were offering.

PS3
Just Cause 2 (demo)
Major League Baseball 2K10 (demo)
MotoGP 09/10 (demo)

PSP
MLB 10: The Show ($39.99)

PSP Mini: Digi-Tiles ($2.99)
PSP Mini: Vector TD ($3.99)
PSP Mini: Earthshield ($2.99)
PSP Mini: Legend of Kunoich ($2.99) (At first I read that as Legend of Kucinich, the game for ultra-liberals.)
PSP Mini: Smashbreak ($2.99)
Patchwork Heroes (demo)

Hmm Lunar eh? tempting :P I wish they'd finally bring FF9 and LoD to PSN.

I don't know about LoD, but FF9 is just a matter of time.

I bought the Lunar remake this morning. I haven't had much time to play it, but I got through the new prologue with the original batch of heroes before it cuts to Alex standing at Dyne's grave. I'm liking it so far.

It's unfair at how many games I want brought to PSN but will prolly never happen ;~;

I bought the psp mini Age of Zombies last night. Fun, if pretty basic gameplay, but it is funny as hell.

Seems like a quiet week, but then I'm not the kind of gaming masochist who can really enjoy getting his ass handed to him by Mega Man games anymore. I want to try that demo for MLB 10: The Show..

PS3
Mega Man 10 ($9.99) (Demo)
Feeding Frenzy 2 ($9.99) (Demo)
MLB 10 The Show (Demo)

PSP
The Eye of Judgment Legends ($9.99)
Rock Band Unplugged Lite ($9.99)
PSP Mini: Rocket Racing ($3.49)

I'd managed to convince myself One doesn't exist, even though the game is sitting on my shelf with the rest of my PS1 games. Then it shows up on PSN and brings back a flood of memories of wanting to snap my controller in half.

PS3
Groovin Blocks ($9.99)
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse Pre-order ($29.99)
PS1: One ($5.99)
PS1: Jigsaw Madness ($5.99)

The Red Star ($9.99)
LUXOR Bundle - LUXOR Wrath of Set & LUXOR Pharaoh's Challenge ($9.99)
PSP Mini: BreakQuest ($3.99)
