It doesn't vouch for much considering they are very different jobs with very different stratagies of killing people. There is no way the Drk you kill in 6 seconds is any good if you really do kill him in 6 seconds so that also doesn't count for anything.
You have a good point here, that was a bad example.
Silence is really the least of the worries if you have a drk/rdm. Sleep and bind can but you in alot worse of a position. If the pld decides to put up barsleep instead barsilence then go with silence and the pld is equally in trouble if no meds. You also aren't taking in to acount that 225 is far more then enough to enfeeble a player. We aren't fighting IT mobs here. Even match players are much more squishy.
Well, pld already has resist sleep as a trait, so it would be smart for him to go with barsilence. Another problem is that the pld can silence the drk, making him a sitting duck as well. But the difference is, a pld still has alot of JA's and such to keep def up while he'd be killing the drk. Where as the drk silenced would have nothing but auto attack.
Honestly, I think drk/sam would stand a much higher chance than drk/rdm. Timing third eye for ws's, hoping for counters from seigan, and of course...meditate. (and guillotine silences, so you got that covered)
