I look at that debate and usually settle on 1 shot kills > travel time.
Mostly it's just the "U" area where Spiny spawns that is highly farmed. People know this and can move also...Or go to West Saru. "The Forgotten Saru". :lol:

Oh, my bad about the Carrion Crows thing. Please forgive me. And still, Saruta is a nice place to level. And there's more than just farming to get gil. Bees and Crawlers are all over the place. Since they link in places like Giddeus, you might as well just farm there for your Chips.
In an unrelated note, I have a question for more CoP-veteran players. If I was to go into a Promyvion with a friend or two, and we killed some Empty monsters, would I get experience points for my job, even if it was level 61?

Doesn't the exp lower though according to your actual level? Cuz I know us bsts sometimes do exp parties in level-cap areas, but at some point the exp becomes too low to stick around.

I think the xp earned is based on the cap of the area, however the chain bonuses used to be based on actual level. But that was changed in the July 19th update:

Playonline[/url]]Experience chain bonuses in level-restricted areas of Chains of Promathia are now determined by the level of the player while in that area, rather than the player’s actual level.

and how do you expect a brand new player to the game that starts in bastok or windy to even know/think that? not everyone has friends that bring them to the game to give them the inside info. is it that hard to farm what u get from the saru areas in other areas not far from there? say bubu for example.

Actually Thnikk, the point of my post was that bored high-levels were killing anything that moved, and not even in the right area that the NM pops in. So the comparison isn't entirely accurate.

It's one thing if someone is farming or camping and killing placeholders. It's another thing if they're bored, don't know what they're doing, and are killing things just to keep themselves occupied while low-levels are trying to exp all around them.

Yeah, quit farming all the noob areas so 'ol Falsey can get back up there. I had a pretty good fit getting back on my feet but I'm making it so far.

If you want money, just invest 1-2k in a Scorpion Claw, park a bazaar in Batallia Downs overnight, throw it in said bazaar for 5ish mil.

Seems to be what all the cool kids are doing now-adays. :roll:

I have had this happen alot lately I am there on a lvl 8ish job killing stuff then all of the sudden someone 30-75 runs by diaing everything in sight. I will normally send them a tell asking them not to farm because I am trying to you know lvl either get ignored or an answer like STFU I NEEDZ TEH GILZORS GAWD NOOB! now I could understand if they were doing this around where the NMs spawn. I just don't understand why if they wanna farm say crawlers they go to a higher lvl place that has a better drop rate like the maze seems to have a good drop rate and you could kill scorps too
