please HELP!

I have no idea what is going on, everytime I use berserk or aggressor my computer just completly closes out of PoL. Has this happend to anyone where if they used a ja they'd get dc'd? Or does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

EDIT: It's just aggressor, I click on it and BAM dc ;.;

Is your computer turned on?

Is your monitor plugged in?

So how would I fix that? Go into the .dat file and put in the correct one? I really don't know anything bout .dat files >.<

Easiest way would be to find someone who knows alot about the way FFXI's dat files work and where the agressor .dat is located and have them send you theirs, I'd think.
 
Another option could be the file checking program inside POL. It'll run through all ~23,000 files, so give it a good 30 minutes or so, but it'll tell you if any files are corrupt or missing(it'll just say corrupt if they're missing). If they are then you can have someone send you a copy of that file to replace your corrupt one.
 
Yeah I ran the file checker and it fround some problems, now I just have to find someone to send me the .dat thing.
 
lol that file checker should have an option to download the correct version again.
 
Agr file is err 1-55-83
go to www.ffxi.dats.com and ask for a new one there or ask me or even better ask devifox he is the 1337 data person on most servers and we are lucky he on are server

That thing only works if there is a missin file if there is a file with the right number it does jack if it was able to tell which there orginal files, and which where new ones people who switch data files could be caught

When you say ask for a new one... does that mean they'll give me one and i'll have to put it in myself?

they will give u the file u need and u put it into the right place

The other option is to uninstall and reinstall FFXI. I did that on my computer like 4 months ago. No big deal.

Yeah I would but only problem is I can't find my zilart disc >.<

i am on yr 2001 Cds have over 24hrs of DL patches

theres also spell swapper available there if you just want to swap it with something youre not likely to ever see in game, and thus not crash. (but thatd be dangerous and lazy)
