Please Help

I'm guessing this problem has something to do with my hardware but i really want to know how to fix it so i can play FFXI. I have not yet even been able to really get passed the video from the beginning of the game. After the video plays I select accept at the message box then the screen goes black and my pc reboots. And im only running the demo because i have never played FFXI on pc before, but i was curious to see if anyone knew what this ment.

Could you let us know the full details of your PC? Like operating system, configuration and stuff.
 
Way back in the day, when I first started this game, I had a computer that was sub-par at best. The video card couldn't support the game in any possible way, but I could get through the opening video before it shut me down.

So, like Kiki said, PC specs would help troubleshoot your problem.
 
Go to Start > Run > Cmd.

Then when you have cmd up type dxdiag, give us the specs of the first one, and then your video/gfx card
