dude, you know what.

you guys want to talk a lot of shit without having proof, and then expect people to go out of their way to prove you wrong. they dont owe you a god damned thing.

meeze and pg have done more for people in this game than you and your moms could ever even think about doing because you're too busy in a circle jerk with people you think are your friends. if community doesnt outweigh what they do with their money, then i dont know what is. fuck it. come ON.

these people that you're coming down on, meeze, and partygirl, they are good fucking players at this game, and put other people's needs right up there along with their own, if not past it. Those two would at a drop of a hat help anyone they know to be true when they're not busy, and to me, thats what makes the player.

BUT they have great equipment, so you want to talk shit that they buy gil.

i have been told by so many people about all the shit they go through to get gil and the money to fund what they do. granted they're on 24/7 so they must have no life ( ha ha i jabbed you take it ) and they dont farm constantly, but they have their means.

if you want to call paying for mules buyin gil, then so be it.

if you think you wouldnt waste money on mules because you want to spend your time whacking shit all day for it, more power to you.

i dont know what my point is. i guess its like, if you talk shit about someone, you could pick something better than buying gil. I know a lot of people who have bought gil in this game. do i hold it against them? maybe for a bit.

but then i realize, there are a lot more important things to playing a fucking game than money. you all are like the fuckin hippies with a 2 cent trailor who blame the govt for fucking everything up because they have all the money and you dont.

fucking get over it. there are more important things to worry about.

play the fucking game, dont let it play you.

davio your are very small minded

DAVIO get real I was skilling up with alot of ppl in b- tree as you saw. I dont know if they are gil sellers or not. IF YOU READ THE POST I dont go around calling ppl that unless I know its true. I left the party becuase I dont need the head ache of ppl saying I help gil sellers so I would rather not skill up. I mean god so anyone I party, skill up with, or go and help kill an nm I should interview them and ask them if they buy or sell. I that what you do cuz If thats the case I want to be cool like you. If you read your post you are making your self sound more like an ass then a good player.

I didnt even know she was rich, I stoped partying with her after Lvl 66 when she didnt have GS leveld or thf sub for when dark becomes an incredible DD. So even if she dont buy gil shes still gimp so oh well.

Really, not everyone wants to gimp their entire damage output just to appease NIN tank PTs. You could always get her for the bulk damage, and find another sap who subs THF for the hate placement. Not all DRKs want to fit into that category. Not all EVERYONE wants to.

Konartist, you are a moron.

Wasn't shit proven, all it was was accusations from someone that doesn't know me, just another person talking out of his ass, much like you are.

And it is pretty funny that you call me the ethug, when i saw you in sky yesterday you started talking shit to me and all i did was merely ask the question "you never met me before, aside from maybe a couple xp parties a long time ago, how do you know me enough to call me a gil buyer?"

you just kept up your wise ass remarks. and i'm the ethug?

For WSM and everyone wondering how she gets her gil, she has 32 mules that garden for her. as i explained in my thread each mule makes a minimum(absolute bare minimum) of 200k a month, do the math.

it is fine if people don't believe me or her, personally i'm over it. i got enough friends that have seen the hard work i've put into the game to get where i am.

to be perfectly honest i feel pretty gimped in my gear when i see players that have dusk trousers, e bows(shoulda waited to sell at 16mil lol), o bow(stupid fucking gob) PCC, hellfire+1, those +1 str rings and agi rings.

people got millions in this game, they can just go out and spend 5 mil without that shit affecting their game, i can spend about 1-1.5 mil without feeling hurt in the wallet. i haven't elevated my game that far, but trust me i will. and when i do i want you to make a big ass flame about me so you feel good about yourself for not figuring out how to make gil in a kids game.

Not to bash on you PG but 32 mules O.o thats 320 pots. How do you manage to check your plants all on the apropriate day, feed crystals and harvest. You have to log in and out of charaters and then in and out of accounts O.o I would go insane.

Another question . . . how much gil you harvest on average per mule? Im used to ~1.5-2.5mil/mule. I just cant imagine having ~60mil after a month of Gardening :P

Thats ALOT of mules. Your talking about an hour a day just to tend to all that. Then theres the extra 32 bux a month...

If you buy gil for this game I can assume that you are a gimped player. Maybe you get some kind of high from going from being poor to all of a sudden having money to buy equip. that you don't really deserve.

This is a game...your part of that don't you understand. If you farm and make gil the way you are supposed to then farming would be the first way that you can do this...and if you did farm you for gil you would never have to join a skill-up party because your weapons would be maxed from all the time you put in to farming. Then if you put all your money in crafting...it would take you a little while to farm enough gil for this but eventually you would get high enough where you could make alot of gil from crafting...but unless you have lvled THF then you would still have to farm alot...and at the same time raising skills.

So I guess skill-up parties are a sure sign that someone buys gil. It is a constant struggle back and forth of farming, crafting(and gardening), NM hunting if a THF(for drops)...or if you have good LS BCNM battles. I guess if you have a lvl 75 character and you take part in Dynamis or God fights then you COULD get lucky and get an item that could make you rich but still this is no substitute for good old farming and crafting.

What I don't like more than anything is when some gimped player even if they are 75...runs out of money and thinks he is bad ass when they buy gil and you know that they had no-money from LS talks and all of sudden they buy all this shit. Just because you have have lvl 75 doesn't make you any more special or exempt if you buy gil for any reason.

Honest players in this game will come out on top in the end and out pocket books don't have to suffer because you are so insecure in the game of your accomplishments that you have to buy gil to make yourself feel better. Save your money...do things the right way...and even though it takes forever to get anywhere you will respect yourself more in the end...and be a more experienced player in the end. Take care and not give in the your insecurities.

Well, Im sorry I ever accused the rich retiree's of ever buying gil. Its a slam dunk proof that they don't cause after all they have 32 mules. Nevermind I apologize please forgive me Meeze and partygirl.

Paying for 32 mules for month is kinda like buying gil. Only since you do some work also you get a little more gil too boot.

hehe

/poke

Might as well buy gil.

gotta be the dumbest thing i ever read. You can't cap a skill by farming, unless you farm even match/toughs, and that is pretty much only done by nin/rdm/smn/bst. if skill up parties are how you determine who buys gil then you are going to have to accuse every mage, every DRK, PLD, and everyone who likes to cap weapons that are not desired in xp parties.

And Konartist, you still haven't explained to me how you came up with the idea that I or PG buy gil, at least Veresko made some good points to support his accusations, you just go off topic and bash something else.

You know whose to blame for gil buying?

The player base.

You youngin's these days put too much emphasis on equipment that isn't necessary to level. Back when I did my romp. No one gave a shit about having a scorpion harness, or a Haub, as it was extremely unlikely any one of us original high levels had the means and gil to obtain them. Now, everyones hopped up on having everyone they party with having high grade equipment that they saw someone using on their second, or third run through the leveling mill.

So what happens? Someone doesn't get invites, because everyone else is too self-centered about building their party with the 31337157 equipped players they can get, totally overlooking average. So they're resorted to A) Farming. B) Getting an honest BCNM static going. or C) Buying gil. Most of these people are usually at the end of their line in this game from the lack of invites, so they take the fastest route, buying.

No one is to blame but the people who are too obsessed with building high power parties. You guys are the ones that have made the problem as big as it is, by not swallowing your pride and realizing not everyone will be able to have such items on hand everytime you invite someone.

I'm glad I've played through this game without Scorpion Harness(Not like MNK needs it,) camped and obtained my own Ochiudo's until I realized that my AF gloves were far superior over time, quested my own brown belt.

*honest:
A lot of people are probably too cutthroat about gil because of the same reasons stated above, so they'd obtain items and drop from the group, keeping everyones cut.

Well said. I wish making all that gil doing all that work paid off in RL as well. Like paying for a new car, buying those new tech toys, clothes etc....

But unlike hard work in RL, everything dissapears when you leave the game.....

I for one, wont regret my time spent, its been alot, but I had fun and the costs wern't so high.

Yeah...i second what meeze said. That is a pile of crap.
If you are going to go by that method of finding gilsellers then i think you will find that every single WHM who feels like having Hexa Strike is a gilbuyer. as a) WHM really cannot solo to save their lives (which is why we have reraise  ) b) what would you say if your whm happened to start beating the mob with his/her hammer? what would you say if you died because she was focusing on SCing and not healing?
Basically that entire sentance is pretty much totally wrong as if you are going to farm something then you should be able to kill it easily and by that time any meleeing job should have their skill WAY above the cap limit for that mob.

You youngin's these days put too much emphasis on equipment that isn't necessary to level. Back when I did my romp. I agree partially with what you say. players get jealous of other peoples equipment and want equally good equipment and sometimes buy gil to get it. but i found this incorrect for two reasons. The first is that ranger used to be expected to have really good equipment, but then after the rush of noob rangers (and the huge price inflation of everything) people don't expect rangers to have anything much more than arrows (because that is all too frequently all they do have). I am not saying this applies to all rangers as i know some have worked their asses off getting good equipment, but that is not all of them. The second problem with that is that most people find party members by /sea all. this gives no indication of what their gear is like and i doubt anyone would be petty enough to kick someone for having average gear (maybe completely awful gear but not average). I have found that people (including myself) seem more focused on trying to find people that actually are good at their damn jobs than they are on what they are wearing. good gear is nice but not completely necessary, doing your job well is necessary but people seem to ignore that hoping their "l33t" gear will make up for the fact that they suck.

Thats my 2 cents ^^
