Whats the drop rate on this item? And is it really any good? Atm I use Astute cape full time. Is the +1 refresh (using poison potion to induce poison) worth it?

Looks nice, not sure if its better than +magic skill tho!

it's very bad, I hear people need multiple pellets for this thing to have a decent shot of dropping.

Also, it's a very good item for say mainhealing or resting I would think (stoneskin duh) although invigorating cape may have better results combined with other mph gear for resting...but it's a definitely a good item.

Really any sort of cheap auto refresh is great from an item, like duelist's chapeau(not only reason of course), blessed briault, cleric's, yyr, dalmy...(you get the idea).

The pellets that are used to pop the nm are a pain in the ass to get to drop. Ive heard the drop rate on the cape itself from the NM is not great. If you're going to go after it, plan on spending a good quantity of time at it.

Like other pieces, it has its usefullness and applications. It's not something for full time wear, no. There are definitely more useful back selections for most situations in my opinion.

useful for anytime where being on constant poison for a duration of time. vrtra comes to mind, soulflayers, diabolos, ect.
