Pokemon Battle Revolution

There we go. I made my own character, too. Gave him YTMND / Bill Cosby catchphrases, too.

Pokeyman? POKEYMAN!! WITH THE POKEY, AND THE MAN AND THE THING WITH THE GUY JUMPS OUT, AND HE MAKES AN--AGH!! AGH!! AGH!!

-- Sorry... Anyway. Anybody else getting this?

I must say that I'm impressed with the animation. I like how the Poketopia receptionist moves like a real person would. The graphics are exceptionally nice.

Me and T-LOC just had an exhibition match.

I was using imported pokemon from my DS. He was using the rentals from the game.

I hope more of y'all get this game. It's actually pretty fun. The graphics are amazing, and the soundtrack rocks.

haha nice, owned me pretty good.. rematch will be coming soon =P lol

Someone buy me this game please. ; ;

So I played around a while beating leaders and buying things. I figured I'd try my luck in an online match before I called it a night.

So I find an opponent, and then I fid out he has a bunch of legendary (or whatever) pokemon, and a charizard.

I got raped.

So I try again, with a new opponent. Same story.

I got raped again.

Does everyone have a million super-best pokemon?

Naw, but alot of people do take this game seriously when it comes to battling. Like the song says:

"I wanna be the very best... Like no one ever was...
To catch them is my real test... To train them is my cause!"

Me and T-LOC were having a good time battling each other in Wi-Fi. You should actually join in on the fun and share a friend code.

I'm waiting to hear Dayner's excuse as to why he can't battle.

I'm planning to buy the game, but it's a lower priority since it doesn't include a single-player campaign like Pokemon Colosseum. I've never battled anyone before, either via link cables or online, so I'm sure I'll get my ass handed to me by the uber trainers.

there is a single player mode. I never played Colosseum but you do go through a single player in different colosseums fighting a few trainers before fighting the "leader".

I'm gonna get it the beginning of August. We'll play then. ^_~... With my level 20 pokemans.

I know it has a single-player mode, but I meant that it's just battles and not an RPG storyline like the one in Colosseum. It's one of those games that I'm not sure is of any use to players who aren't into battling others, but I'm sure I'll end up getting it anyway at some point.

I'll put my code up after work today. It didn't even occur to me to do it yesterday.

I went back last night and spent some quality time with the move-deleter in Pearl. I got rid of my party pokemon and my "B" squad's HMs and used some fancy new TMs on everyone. After work today I'll have to delete and re-upload my pokemon from the ds, but then I'll be set to battle.

ahh ok, my bad lol. I just started playing with pearl and as much fun as it is I havent totally gotten into it like I now wish I had (since i keep getting my ass kicked lol). so forgive my noobyness =P.

Yeah, well, the reason most people use teams of legendaries online in this is because there's not many battle-clauses. Almost all pokemon are allowed in the randomly matched online whereas usually it's limited.

I will probably be picking this up come my graduation party. Sadly I have fallen behind on the video game curve lately, and I still have yet to pick up Diamond or Pearl.

I'd recommend getting Diamond/Pearl first, since Battle Revolution is more of an extension of the DS game than it is a standalone experience. Without your own team, you're stuck with rental pokemon that are next to worthless.

Seconded. The first arena you fight in forces you to use rental pokemon, to get a feel for the game, and it is horrible. You can win other rental pokemon as the game goes on, but they come on "prepackaged parties" that you can't change.

I hate the lottery duel arena. (The one with the wheel, and you get pokemon from the other team.) I always get stuck with the computer opponent's shittiest pokemon.

So it's just me and T-LOC? There's no one else? Well... That's poopy.

I plan to get both I hated using the rental pokemon on the battle dome shit for N64 until I finally found my copy of Pokemon Blue where I had all the pokemon. Like I said though I really have fallen behind on video games lately.
