Shiny pokemon are no different from their normal counterparts, aside from a color swap, and sparkly animations when they appear. They're just for show.._. whats the difference apart from colors?

I've added everyone on the list thus far...
We should actually MEET one another sometime. I've only met one other person on Wi-Fi... My former roommate [he's not on FFXI / QCDN].
I've been bringing my Pokemon back from FireRed via the Pal Park. I got my old team back, and I'm breedin' the crap out of them with my Ditto. I have bred two "Eevees" already and I have a "Lucario" on the way. If you don't want to battle, at the very least I can help hook some of you up with the Pokemon you guys want via breeding.
Just let me know. ... In the meanwhile... *snuggles his Snorlax, Celebi, Mawile, Lugia, Metagross, & Suicune* I'm happy.
If interested you could loan my starter some time for breeding stock, in exchange for some Evee lovin'![]()
Sure, Moriki. I've been breeding Eevee eggs by repeatedly mating my Espeon and Umbreon with a Ditto.
And Cua, if I get another Ditto, you can have it. Make sure you have the National Dex first, though. ... I checked where Ditto will appear in Diamond / Pearl using my Pokedex. Ditto seems to spawn only on Route 218 (Just outside of Canalave City). Route 218 seems to flash Bright Red... Coincidentially, there is also a golden tree (the kind you can smear with a jar of Honey) next to a large patch of grass on that route.
So my assumption is that Ditto only comes from that tree, and that's it...
Well, Pokemon Breeders--There's your cue! I hope this little tidbit will encourage you guys to breed and trade a bit more.
It's number of steps, same for hatching.Well, for me, it takes roughly 40 minutes to an hour. I'm not sure if its based on a factor of time or how many steps you take with your character. Bear in mind I'm mostly using Fly, or when I'm on foot, its scooting around on my bicycle.
Let me eat your kitten in your avatar for my dinner and I'll tel you.
Hatching... significantly more steps than to get the egg... There are two abilities (Flame body and magma armor I think?) that decrease the time this takes, you have to have a pokemon with that in your party or something.
