Pokemon Diamond & Pearl

Ok, I'm squealing in joy, I just bred my first legit shiny (well I assume the ones I've got from trades arent legit)

and its a Scyther! :D An ADAMANT one! :D :D So so happy!

Looked it up and Shiny Scizors are so cool:

Pidgeotto, Ekans, Togetic, Snubbull, Teddiursa, Swablu, Aipom, Electrike, Manectric, Castform.

Seen: 400, Obtained 339.

I've updated my Pokedex List accordingly.
 
Devi, I got the last 5 legendaries on your list :D. Manaphy, Phione, Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus
 
Also, do any of you guys have Pokemon Leaf Green and Pearl/Diamond? The reason being is that I want to get the evolved form of Magmar.

Electabuzz and Magmar have new evolutions now.

Elekid >> Electabuzz >> Electivire

Magby >> Magmar >> Magmortar

I already have an Electivire that I got from an Elekid I caught.

These Pokemon are obtained in a somewhat unusual way. To get Electivire and Magmortar, they evolve in the same way as some Pokemon do. The "Evolves by Trading + Carrying an Item" kind.

Electivire... You must send an Electabuzz through trade while carrying an "Electrizer". How do you get an Electrizer? Simple. They are SOMETIMES carried by wild Elekids that have a very low spawnrate and spawn in the patches of grass, strictly on the South end of Route 205.

There is one prerequisite that must be met however... You need to have a copy of Pokemon, FireRed Version present in the GBA slot of your Nintendo DS. Only then will wild Elekids spawn in that patch of grass, and sometimes hold an Electrizer.

What I want is a Magby holding the item "Magmarizer". Magbys only spawn on route Route 227, and only if--you guessed it--a copy of Pokemon, LeafGreen Version is present in the GBA slot of your Nintendo DS.

I know this is going to be a pain in the butt to get ahold of, but if you guys can help me out here, it'd be much appreciated. In return, I can get you an Elekid + Electrizer.
 
I have LeafGreen in my DS right now, actually. I consolidated all of my GBA pokemon to that cartridge for Pal Park imports. I'll need that Magmar evolution myself, so I'll try to catch them this afternoon.

In other news, my Pokemon Colosseum efforts are coming along nicely. I'm almost ready to start fighting for I.D. badges in Realgem Tower, but first I have to spend some quality time leveling up my team at Mt. Battle. I want those legendaries!
 
Aye. I jacked all the legendaries off of my copy from Pokemon Colloseum. My plan of plugging my Wii into my Gamecube with the GBA-to-GC Link and the GBA Player actually worked. I got my Pokemon off Colloseum to my FireRed game.

I say, go for it.

And... see about that Magby if you can. There's an Elekid in it for you.
 
Couldn't you just use Thief instead of catching them? Less time and balls wasted, plus you can Exp. Share some freshly bred mon.
 
There's good news and bad news. I got a Magmarizer on the eighth Magby I encountered -- also got a Skarmory and Numel while I was hunting -- but found out you can only use the item once after I evolved my Magmar.

I'm working on getting that second Magmarizer now.

Update: Got it on the second Magby when I went back. Just let me know when you're available to trade, Devi.

I got a shiny level 100 Teddyursa (sp?) from a rl friend in exchange for one of my turtwigs. Also got a Luvdisc and...something that I forgot >.<

Dex at 291 seen.

I was in the middle of a Limbus run when Devi popped on to WiFi for the trade, so I was using my peripheral vision to send him the Magby while my alliance was about to be roasted by Ifrit. It wasn't until an hour later, after the run, that I looked and saw what you'd named it. Cracked me up.
 
I'd think you could mate them. Ask the old man how they're getting along.

I've turned into a lazy bastard when it comes to catching all the Sinnoh pokemon. I bred a bunch of Spiritomb and have been trading them right down the line to get all the monsters I need to complete my set. It's almost too easy.

I still need to go back and get the ones I'm missing from earlier games, though.
