"The network is busy or there is no response from the server."

I got kicked from the game about 8 hours ago and have been getting this message since, everytime i try to log on.... my internet is working completly fine. I shut down my computer for like 2 hours then tried again and still got this message...
Is anyone else getting this or know how to fix it??

If you use a router, you may hafto restart it. I need to do that with mine roughly once a week because it randomly starts refusing connections from FFXI.

i dont use a router. I live in a dorm at my college, so i just use the one line for my laptop, which is what i play on.

yeah, I get that messege a lot too dude...

pull up your connection settings, and just observe how many packets you are sending and receiving....

if those two monitors stay gray for a loooong time...that means that your internet is so slow, that PoL can't even detect that you have a connection....

Let's see, this has happened to me, about 5 times to far...

well how did you fix it all those times? this has never happened to me and my connecion isnt slow at all. Actually its quite fast.
Now its been 24 hours since i was kicked and I still cant get on and still get the same message >,>
