I had that happen to me when the Mog Bonanza came out with my Verizon online, it took a week for it to get fixed and I missed the early rush on selling dusk gloves >.>. I was able to sign into xbox live and everything, the PoL people told me that Verizon was having trouble connecting to the Japanese servers and eventually it will adjust itself.

yeah comcast here too
my connection has been fluky all day. Called in and they said they where having problems all over the place. Although my area wasn't on their list at the time. I'm guessing it is now.
 
anyone who using comcast can connect to FFXI yet?
 
theres plenty of people who are on comcast and fine, it's the rather large amount of people who can't that's the problem
 
MSN, AIM, and everything else is working fine. FFXI not connecting is the problem.
